Soda usually tastes gross to me now, even real sugar soda... but if you like it, drink it. Just stay within your goal calories. I will have a quality ginger-ale on occasion, and Guinness is at least once a month!!

I would try to make sure I have the room available for my recover shake after my workout. My shake runs about 350 calories. I found the 40 carb 40 protein 20 fat ratio impossible, and switched to a 40 carb 30 fat 30 protein ratio. I do much better with macro goals now.

If I eat a salad, there will be half an avacado, some sauteed steak or chicken thigh, and salsa or ranch and cheese on it. Healthy? Yes. I get my protein, my fat, and some of my carbs. Good fat, good protein and good carbs... for more than 500 calories...

I switched to non-fat and low-fat milk at first, and gradually worked into just drinking water most of the time. Also, this will get some derision, but a 14 to 30 day juice fast will reset your palate, and that can help a lot.

If you want the nutrient content of bee pollen get bee pollen granules. They go good in protein shakes and smoothies. And, it is a whole food more than a supplement. It doesn't have wacky ingredients either.

No, it isn't bad. Depending on how you work out, you may wish to change the % of your intake of your macro-nutrients.

I added a protein shake to my breakfast, because I needed higher protein intake. And, I am drinking a night-time protein shake (I concoct them into meals, except the AM one, it is in water). My post w/o shake is an insane nutrient dense power meal made with a lot of real food and a scoop of protein!

It is all about eating less calories than you are expending. Herbalife shakes, in place of meals, cuts your calories back. But, so does portion size with the food you love already. What happens when you lose the weight and ditch the shakes? Get back o your old weight? Train yourself to portion better and adopt better food…

Herbalife is nasty, and not nearly as nutritious as they will try to sell you on. I agree with the post above me. The only shake you should drink for health is your protein shake after you hit the weights!!

Depends on whether it is sativa or indica. Pot gives me anxiety an panic attacks, so I do not partake. You can eat it in food. If you understand infused butter/fat, it is easy to do. You can also get a vaporizor.

so Shakeology is no good. That is a bummer, as I am thinking about becoming a Beachbody Coach… Maybe I will try to get P90X Certified… NASM is offering a class this month, but I am not ready for it yet. I hope that it comes up again when I finish some of my goals!

Looks good. Why not set it a little higher in your goals so it doesn't look like you are going crazy on protein, because you aren't!

I just started to do my MFP recommended calories. I am always under, but try to hit it as close as I can. I do now eat back my workout calories, and find that I am much stronger and have more energy.
