  • The scale went back down just the tiniest bit. I have had my hands (and brain) full with some family stuff this week and have been really distracted, do my tracking has been off and I've gone over my calories more often than not. Trying to get back on track this week, because I'll feel better if I make a little progress.…

  • I'm in! I don't know what my goal is yet, though. I'm hopping on the treadmill after I get the kids to bed tonight. :)
  • I'm in! Week # 1 – August 4th -- Goal 180 minutes: Mon: Tue: Wed: Thur: Fri: Sat: Sun: Total / min left: 0 / 180
  • I mentioned this in the check-in thread, but we ordered pizza tonight and I love pizza. Love it. I usually get through 4 slices without even thinking. Tonight I took 2 slices, told myself this is not my last chance to eat pizza, and didn't go back for more. And I got my exercise in. Very proud. :)
  • I lost weight about 10 years ago and got to around 185 and looked pretty great. (I'm 5'10" and also have a larger frame.) I still technically had weight to lose, but I felt good and looked great at that weight.
  • I would like to join please. Thanks!
  • It's funny. With my first pregnancy, I was a carb-crazed lunatic. I seriously couldn't stop shoving chocolatey stuff in my face. I gained a ton of weight. With my second pregnancy, I'd learned my lesson *and* I was starting at a much higher weight, so I was much more conscientious, tried to keep my sweet tooth under…
  • Oh, this thread made my night. I'm 5'10" and it's nice to see starting weights and goal weights that I can relate to. :) I'm working toward being an "after". :)
  • Level 1, Day 8 complete. I'd been using 3lbs weights to start out because I didn't know how it would go, but I didn't feel like they were heavy enough for the chest and back exercises. I moved up to 5lb weights tonight and - wow, what a difference! I'm really impressed with how much my endurance has improved, though. I'm…
  • Level 1, Day 7 completed. Level 2 is in my sights!
  • Day 6 completed! :)
  • Arrrgh! After completing Level 1, Day 5 on Friday, I pulled a muscle in my shoulder (not because of 30DS - it happened in the wee dark hours of Saturday morning) and have had to skip working out for 2 days because I have pretty limited range of motion. I think I can do it again today, although I'm going to have to be extra…
  • Completed Day 5 of Level 1 tonight after taking a 2-day break because my knee was bothering me. It was tough after just 2 days off! I also looked up a 5-minute stretching routine on YouTube because I don't feel like Jillian does enough stretching at the end.
  • Level 1 Day 4 completed. I almost didn't get it done today - it's been a crazy day. And I definitely prefer doing the workout earlier in the day - by the time 8pm rolls around, I just feel sort of tired and heavy. So I'll aim to get it done a little earlier tomorrow.
  • Level 1 Day 3 complete! Improving a little bit each day so far, although I won't be winning any pushup contests anytime soon.
  • I'm just starting out - finished Day 2 of Level 1 today. Got through a bit more today than I did yesterday, but I'm expecting to be pretty sore tomorrow so we'll see! I'm modifying it a bit - I've tried 30DS in the past and have hurt my knees, so I'm modifying the cardio moves so I'm not bouncing so much, hoping to make it…
  • I'm in! And done!
