I didn't realize about the protein thing - prob gonna go with celery and peanut butter, then, since I have those at home and no time to day to stop anywhere. Gonna stock up on the cheese sticks, tho'...Thanks!

I cannot remember what I told MFP I wanted to lose weekly - I will have to check that out - probably 2 lbs....Thanks for the info!

Good point! I am a Virgo, and tend to get too serious about things! Thank you!

I actually just did, just a little, but did. Changed a recipe so I didn't use butter in it for my veggies tonight. Don't have much wiggle room today - not much food in the house and no time to go shopping until tomorrow...but I did think of creating some wiggle room. Thank you!

That sounds yummy! Thanks!

Oops! Thank you for the info! Didn't know!

Yes...someone else gave me a link to a wesite that helped figure out a good caloric intake for me that is a bit higher, and I will still lose weight. I think I will try to stick to the 1200 MFP allows most days, but on tougher days, allow myself the ability to go to the 1682 that the other site allowed me...and try to…

Good advice! Thank you!

It does! Thank you!

Yup...this site said I could take in 1682 calories a day and still lose weight, while MFP says 1200 is my daily target. So I don't feel so bad going a little over here and there until I start working out. (and that 1682 is if I am sitting all day). thank you...you eased my conscious quite a bit!

Interesting! I will check this out! Thank you!

Tomatoes and raw veggies I like...thank you for hte suggestions!

A friend suggested the peanut butter and celery thing, too...I might have to give that a try...thank you!

Thank you for the suggestions...I am gonna pick up some cantelope or pre-cut fruit salad on my way to pick up my kid for her school play. I appreciate all the help! Not working out yet - I just started (3 days ago), and I hate exercising, and hate having to give up my past eating habits. Decided to take it one thing at a…

I do love tomatoes, red peppers, and cukes! I could cut some of those up...thank you!

MFP is giving me 1200 calories, which I find very difficult, because up until the other day I would eat whatever I wanted and however much I wanted. I have not worked in exercise yet...only three days into this, and while I know that adding exercise will increase my avail. calories, I HATE exercising, and am angry enough…

That is a wonderful suggestion! Didn't think of that. It will set me over limit a little bit, but I can try to pair back on something else during the day. Thank you!

My fiance' played got more than his money's worth with that game! He would play it for 8-10 hrs. straight some days! He has beaten the game twice and now only plays when he needs to relax. I am not a gamer (at all!) but I do enjoy sitting with him whlle he plays that game because the music is so relaxing! He had two…

This thread is pure awesomness. I have nothing to add. I have been rendered speechless; I can do nothing but giggle continuously as I read. well done, I say...well done!

Truthfully, I cannot stand the actress they got to play Michonne - she drives me nuts! Totally ruined the character for me. Yes, I think Darryl will see his brother for the jerk he is and end up having to kill him to save someone else - will go thru the whole moral dilemna thing because he's his brother, etc. They have…

John Rzeznik...bad boy yet sensitive musician, and a chin dimple to die for! He is the one I would use my "hall pass" for!

Reading a couple books right now..."Fifty Shades Freed" (yes, I know, trash....but it's like watching a train wreck - I can't put it down even though it is horrendous!), and "Witchcraft for Tomorrow" by Doreen Valiente. Hoping to start soon the Hunger Games triogy, re-read the Potter series, and begin the Gunslingr series.…

A quick question on the above chciken recipe...my slow cookers only have low and high settings...if they are frozen, and I put it together in the morning, low would be good until dinner time, don't you think? specially if it is served as soup, because if it overcooks, no biggie....right?

That sounds yummy, and I am pretty sure the whole family would enjoy that! Thanks for the suggestion!
