That seems really excessive! So porridge is oatmeal? Sorry, I live in the States. A bowl of oatmeal here is only about 100-150 calories! I buy the portioned out flavored packages. Just enough I hold me over as a snack and not a lot of calories. I'm surprised you figured it out to be so much.

Ditto. I could sit and eat just about anything until I was ill. It's like nothing is ever enough. To this day I haven't found any helpful things. Just drink lots of water and TRY to make the best choices possible. Maybe fill the void with salads and greens, but don't deny yourself that slice of pizza or cookie. :)

Not sure how to post pictures on here, but this is me 177 to 147! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/darkofpurple/WEIGHT-1-1-1.jpg

Most likely water weight, and/or kick-starting your metabolism. 800 calories for long periods of time will seriously kill your metabolism so your body is probably just kicking into high gear because you're giving it more calories and/or better food options. I wouldn't expect the weight loss to keep dropping off like this…

I got a coupon for them, but the stores around me don't carry them yet.

HOLY COW GIRL!! You look amazing. Your transformation is seriously inspiring. I don't think you need to lose any more!

We eat a lot of dairy, eggs, and greek yogurt in my house. Greek yogurt is seriously high in protein and tastes amazing. I recently started getting our local store brand (Kroger) because there's 14g per serving! Avocado, beans, tofu, fish/seafood, peanut butter, nuts, broccoli, flaxseed, oats, lentils, whey. There's also…

It sounds like you're doing really well with your food. Realistically you could eat less, although over time that is going to kill your metabolism. I HIGHLY suggest finding 15-20 minutes a day you could dedicate to a workout. You don't need anything serious, because every little bit counts. Find workouts OnDemand (on…

I can NOT believe you're in the 190's! You don't look anything close to that. Amazing job and what an inspiration you are for losing so much! Keep up all of your hard work, it's paying off!

I'm loaded with ideas, suggestions, and tips. :)

I've wondered this also. Basically liquid is liquid. If you have say, 8 glasses of juice I feel that's almost the same as water. Ya know?
-
It does depend on your activity level, body type and willingness to stay focused. But I would say 1-3lb a week is COMPLETELY realistic. When I was eating right and working out 4 days a week I consistently lost 1.8lb a week. So, 30-80lbs if you pushed really hard.

Under-active thyroid and low iron are the two things that come to mind. I'm dealing with both of them. Both of which you should see your doctor, have them run some blood work and tell you how much, if any, changes you need to make. Until then, bundle up. ;)
-
I see a huge difference. You look amazing! I've actually went from 177-148ish so I know the difference 30lbs can make. Keep it up!

Thank you. :) Yea, I think I just needed to vent and regroup. If I have the right foods around and I plan out my meals I do a LOT better with the eating before, during, and after work. I need to go grocery shopping again soon so I can get some quick and EASY snacks that don't make me beat myself up.

You look amazing! Congrats on all of your achievements and goals. Good job. :)

No, it's called Sensa. It's some powder you sprinkle over your food. Try googling it. I'd never take it, I'm not into diet pills, I was just wondering if anyone had thoughts on it.

Damn girl! You look amazing! Nice work.

I've never personally done Insanity, but I've been hearing that from people. They didn't get AS much of a result as they expecting. Good for you for completing it, though! Just keep mixing it up. I've attempted P90X several times, there's NO way I can stick to the meal plans or workout 6 days a week, but they do have some…

I think the net calories throw a LOT of people off. You shouldn't eat back the calories that you've burning off, I think it just kind of gives you a little extra cushion if you're feeling a little hungrier. I try and stick to whatever my daily calorie goal was with or without working out. That's the only what I actually…

Have you talked about it, made it obvious you're trying to get healthy and/or gotten new clothes that fit? There's a lot of factors that go into people responding to weight loss. I've noticed that if YOU don't say anything other people don't feel it's their place to make comments. It can be a really touch topic for a lot…

hahaha! Not typically. Arms? Oh yea, I check out arms. And some thick thighs.

You gained weight because you were gaining muscle! Somestimes to scale isn't all you need to look at. If you look better in the mirror and your clothes are loose then it's doing what it should. Muscle weights something like three times as much as fat, so gaining a little is a good thing! Gaining that muscle means you are…

Nice work!!!

They kick my butt every time. I depends which workout you do, because some are harder than others, but they're all pretty intense. I don't know how people do the full 90 days. I'm too sore after 2 or 3 to push myself into another day or two. I always have to take stupid-long breaks in between workouts to recoop.

People get so defensive over things they feel strongly about. Just shrug them off. It's unfortunate that they're on this site. I just joined and am only realizing tonight that I can interact with other people. My friend got me to join but I never understood how you met people outside of people you already knew. heh

You. Are. Amazing! So inspiring to many people and I bet you're feeling amazing!
