I don't know anything scientifically, so I'm just going off observation and personal experience. I've known people who were intense workaholics and body builders, they lived on protein. They were convinced you need to cut out the CARBS to lose the fat. On the flip side I've talked to other people who have said they cut out…

Amazing job so far. You look fantastic!

AMAZING JOB!

I'm currently in a long drawn out journey. I started at 177 back in 2007, and it's taken me FOREVER to lose 30lbs and actually keep it off. I'm reaching the home stretch and looking for people to keep me motivated, especially with the workouts. My calorie goal in more like 1,200-1,400, but I'm always up for some good…

You have made an AMAZING transformation! Great job.

I actually had to track this one down from my old myspace account! Ugh. So fat, so miserable, so insecure. Never again.

I dig this idea. If you cook for yourself and he's left to fend maybe he'll become a little more open to trying new foods. Of ease him into the transition by letting him eat whatever crap he wants, but give him a healthy side option each time. You know what YOU should be eating, so feel even that much more proud that…

Unfortunately he sounds like a stubborn horse. If I were in your shoes I would cook for myself, but make him a portion also. If he doesn't want to try it, fine. But after a while I would assume he would get tired of you trying and give in. Hopefully he'd like something also. I would worry about my partners health if he ate…

There's a thousand reasons, diet and non-diet related that could stop a period. Definitely see your gyno and see what they say!

Adding fresh brewed tea to my smoothies instead of juice or water. I suggest chai.

Damn girl!!! Great job. You're looking amazing. :)

First off, you go girl for snagging a younger man. That has to say something about your right there. ;) Unfortunately he's not Mr. Perfect. When things that hurtful are said they are going to take time to work themselves out. Make sure you voice how hurt you are so he knows exactly what's going on. Use this as your…

Thank you very much. And good luck with your weight loss endeavors!

Awesome work!!! You look fantastic. And I love you with dark brown hair. :)

I have learned the lesson. I need to eat less processed foods, I need to learn how to find healthier snacks, and I need to figure out how to cut a lot of sodium out of my diet. Of course I GET IT, I just didn't like the delivery. If I knew this website was going to be so stressful I wouldn't have posted. Now I'm annoyed,…

I don't need nice-nice, and I don't need rude either. This entire website is everyone attacking everyone in this forum. Not just mine, but many others I've seen. Not really sure why people can't be a LITTLE nicer when delivering information.
-
That would be twisting what has just happened. I WOULD like someone to let me know that I have in fact not consumed the right foods, but not by being so rude. I don't appreciate being made out to be a complete moron.
-
It was brought to my attention I consume way too much sugar and sodium, something I hadn't actually realized, until everyone reposted and reposted and reposted it for me.
-
Thank you. It's a work in progress with both. I've had an issue with the processed foods for a long time. I've cut out A LOT, but I run out of ideas on quick, easy, and tasty foods that will actually satisfy a sweet/salty craving.
-
I appreciate the honesty, but I don't appreciate the rudeness.

I suppose that is very true. When I was closer to my higher weight I felt like I could judge and control my losses and gains more. Now that I'm very close to where I want to be I feel like I have NO idea what my body is doing. Giving up the booze is out of the question, I guess I just need to learn to deal with the…

I do measure out my portions. I don't log my work hours at workouts, but I went slightly over yesterday because I was on my feet running around for almost 8 hours (I'm a waitress), so I suppose those 92 calories I went over I justified because I wasn't sedentary that day. And yes, I did have ONE day where I went out and…

At least I'm not the only one!

Ditto honey. I've been on and off the wagon for the last 5 years. It can be exhausting, but I find switching things up keeps me motivated. A new workout (or machine, or routine), new foods, new cooking utensils/machines, seasonal changes, etc. You still need to live your life while trying to lose weight, keep things…

Minus my one day going out, I was spot on. But thanks for shoving it in my face. I need that.

I know the usual ups and downs. It's just frustrating because my body keeps losing and regaining the same 5lb no matter what I change. I was just frustrated. Plus these workouts weren't super hard and I usually only gain when I do something like P90X or jogging. A little 20 minute beginners kickboxing video, 4 days ago…

Girl, you are TINY now! But you look fantastic. Keep taking care of yourself!
