I'm from Michigan, 43 now and had my baby a couple weeks before I turned 27. At that time I felt really old with a brand new baby, most of my friends already had kids or weren't planning them at all and the other new moms I was around all seemed like babies themselves LOL. Now I know several women who had their babies in…

I'm a big fan of pistachios - I love the taste of course but the time they take to open and eat is a good thing too. I also snack on pork jerky - great protein but a bit high in sodium unfortunately, mini marshmallows sometimes, Laughing Cow cheese, Cracker Jacks - only 120 calories and 2g fat in a box and it…

I agree 100% with SullyKat. We all have crappy moments and you handled it great afterward - you counted it, you came out of hiding with it and you went to your meeting rather than continue to hide. Tomorrow will be better. Take care of you.

Hi. I'm 44, a relatively recent empty-nester with nearly 100lbs to go. I've only been on MFP for a little over a month but I've been on this journey for a lifetime. I log in daily, am overall a positive personality (but very human  ) and would love to link up with some like minded people. I have an open food diary,…

I'm against the idea of labeling a "Cheat Day" but I also believe this: the diet and exercise, the program, is part of a complete life and sometimes life includes indulgences. Stay honest, stay reasonable, keep tracking and move on. If you put a label on it you're more likely to overdo all day long, is my thought. Keep up…

Is there an occasion - other than just because? : ) They're all nice but the dark blue one looks wonderful on you.
