  • I use to add it as dance or arobics in the exercise menu. I have a fitbit so now I let it decide. It is a bit harder on me but then it makes me work harder.
  • Mine is also open as I find it helpful to myself and others. It keeps me motovated as I add everything and I will think before I eat.
  • Welcome, I come from a one income family (and not a big income). I find eating healthy is not more expensive. I have chicken breast on salad, cup a soup which is usually on sale at Woolies. I eat fruit in season and Aldi offers some good deals. I bake alot of my veggies and so you get quite a bit of food for not much…
  • I love my fit-bit and have friends separate to MFP. It keeps me motivated to meet my exercise goals. I love how it lets me know my active score and works well with MFP. The two combined I have found helpful! Good luck either path you take. I have lost 32 pounds so far so I guess you could say I am a satisfied customer! :)
  • Hello, I am a funky 45 year old living in the Warrnambool, Victoria area. I was originally from Canada and I am married to an Aussie bloke and I work full time at a desk. I am looking for other women needing to loose alot of weight. I am down 13.6 KG (30 pounds) and I want to loose at least another 39 kg. It is a long road…
  • Manitoba but moved to Australia in 2011. Do I still count! LOL
  • I quite smoking. Then I gained more weight but I found that dim sims were not my friend and although I would only have 5-6 as a lunch on weekends they were really high in calories for what you were getting. I also stopped drinking Milo in the evenings. I started once again reading labels! The other bit habit was I was a…
  • I joined a month ago and it has been great. I know all too much the loosing and then just going on my merry way till I find I have gained lots back. On a positive good thing you got back into it at a 25 pound gain and not a 75 pound one. I would like to lose 135 pounds and see how I feel from there. So congrats on getting…
  • That is really inspirational. I am starting the journey towards my goal and it is so good to hear how others went. Thanks for sharing.
  • I have been on WW on and off for years. I do find the counting calories easier and the database really good. I feel like I have a variety and I am more like tweaking what I eat than actually dieting. I am 45 and do counselling so I sit a fair bit. I am at my heaviest I have ever been but after 1 month on MFP I have seen…
  • I was originally from Canada. I live in Warrnambool, Victoria about 3 1/2 hours from Melbourne.
  • I neede to hear that as well!
  • Before I started a few weeks ago my treat was 6 dim sims for lunch. When I actually took the time to add it a bit of sour cream and the chili sauce I just about fell over. I was better off eating low GI pizza and 3 slices! I am off dim sims for awhile till I get some weight down and even then I am not sure the calories…

  • I just joined 5 days ago. I weigh in tomorrow and think I will be down a fair bit. I was an emotional eater and am working hard to avoid this. I quit smoking last year as part of starting a new job. I did put on weight. I also live in Australia in Warrnambool. All the best on your journey as well! It has been helpful to…
