I was way too chicken to run outside for the longest time until my partner got interested in running. With her wanting to run outside, it made me feel less like an idiot. I still like going at night so there's less chance anyone will see me, but at least I'm doing it. So maybe find someone who will do C25k with you?

As absurd as it sounds, its not a terrible question. Just looking at the nutrition facts between 2% milk and Pepsi indicates that they are about on even ground as far as calories. Pepsi has more sugar carbs. Milk has more cholesterol, sodium, and saturated fat. Milk has added calcium and vitamins which can be beneficial.…

I did my first ever non-race 5k this evening and it took 43:16. Looking to get that down before Oct 12 when I am signed up for a 5k race.

For me, its usually a bit of stretching and strength in the morning, running at night... but mostly whenever I've got extra time....

A week ago I posted saying I could only get to about 40 seconds... this thread inspired me to go further and now I'm able to do 60 seconds regularly. Ready to push myself toward 2 minutes next.

I've completed C25k and never got blisters on those runs, but the color run that I did gave me terrible blisters, and I also got them recently on a mile long walk.... not sure what I was doing differently.... same shoes, etc. Who knows....

I'm in the same boat.... I've been exercising 3-5 days a week since July and eating mostly healthy, especially lately, and haven't seen much change on the scale. It doesn't bother me much because I'm feeling healthy, but I *would* like to drop a few lbs, still. I can only figure that I'm building a lot of muscle that…

It depends on the injury. Last Thursday I woke up and couldn't stand up straight after straining by back the night before. I was back running on Sunday night... don't do anything dangerous, but when you think you can handle it, then you can try some light working out again.
