I'm 20 weeks today and my weight is fluctuating so much that I'm not sure how much I've gained exactly but it's about 8-10lbs.

I JUST WANT SUSHI!

Sounds good and fun to make with my son!

Cookie Dough Oreo BLIZZARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I don't have to choose!

I really want Sushi and spicy food. I also have been wanting soda more than usual but it makes me feel sick after so I don't drink too much. But probably my big one is PEANUT BUTTER. I have it for meals and snacks.

Yeah, I gained a few pounds right away and then throughout the first trimester I got back to my regular weight and then slowly started gaining again. I think it's just your body. Don't freak too much. Do what you normally do and it will even out soon.

I had sore breasts that didn't go away like they usually did before my period. I had to pee a lot. @ 6 weeks I started feeling nauseous. My heart seemed to be beating harder all the time. I just felt "weird."

I think he really is just concerned about you and wants you to not just be skinny but healthy. You can lose weight eating at a deficit no matter what it is. You can eat healthy or you can eat junk food but exercise in any form will do more than just help you lose weight. You can be skinny and really unhealthy. I think you…

Maybe just cut back a little. Walking is one of the best things you can do when you are pregnant so maybe try that. Also I've been doing yoga and it is amazing. It just feels refreshing and relaxing but can get your heart rate up too depending on what kind of yoga you do. I just youtube prenatal yoga and watch those.

I LOVE Gaelic names. I even looked at Aisling as a contender but it's too close to Ashley for me.

With my first pregnancy we had Margolis (Mar-go-lease) Sue for a girl and Findlay (Fin-lee) Thomas for a boy. Luckily we had a boy because I don't like the girl's name we had picked out anymore. I can't share my current baby's but they are all named after people in our family.

thank you!

It cost about $200 for me. It does depend on how close the person that does it lives to you. It was actually very easy planning. I brought a little cooler to the hospital with me and just made sure ahead of time that my doctor knew I was taking it. My mom took it home with her and called the midwife (mine just happened to…

This is so interesting! Even if it doesn't actually speed anything up its worth a try because there is no harm done to you right? I'm definitely going to have to remember this.

It sounds to me like he feels like he isn't paid enough attention which would make sense being pregnant. You don't even put yourself first anymore. You put the baby and your body first, like not wanting to be out so late. Women seem to be a little more realistic. Men don't always seem to realize the stress your body is in…

Thanks guys. I was worried about preeclampsia but my Doc said that it wasn't anything to do with the baby this soon in my pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy and I never had a problem like this in my first and I barely ever drank any water with my first. I agree I drink much more water this time and I can feel it on…

I'm due June 19th. Baby # 2!! Finally starting to feel myself a bit. Would love some girls with me.

I barely exercised at all in my first trimester as well. I just had zero energy and always felt nauseous so now that I'm in m y second I'm really pushing myself to get out there a few times a week. I'm doing yoga, the bike, some jogging, and light weights.

I'm due June 19th. This will be my second child. I am excited that today begins my 2nd trimester so hopefully I'll have a little more energy to get up and get active again. Feel free to add me anyone. It would be motivating to go through this with someone!

Thank you so much! That looks wonderful.

I think MFP will be great to use during pregnancy. Not only can you use it to make sure you are eating enough(or maybe too much), you can also use it to make sure you are getting enough of the nutrients you need. I don't think I ever ate enough fiber or veggies when I was pregnant with my son. I ate too much sugar. Just…

I understand completely. I started a new job a few months ago and we get free lunch everyday. It's almost always junk and fast food though. I gained 8 pounds and have been feeling awful. I have been doing better because I finally just got fed up. I bring my own lunch now and keep some snacks in a drawer. I make sure to eat…

I was a vegetarian for about a year before I got pregnant and decided it wasn't in my best interest anymore. I went from meat eater to vegetarian overnight and did pretty well so here are a few of my tips. Define what you will or will not eat. I did not eat meat but I still ate fish and seafood. That was my lifesaver. Also…

Hi everyone, thanks for your advice earlier. I'm still having trouble getting back to the gym, every night that I have planned on going I find an excuse not too. Well, I forgot my headphones today and I contemplated not going because of that but I just HAVE to. I sometimes forget why I am doing all this and for some reason…

Why do you hate food and carbs!? Eat, and you are going to gain but your body needs FOOD!

Hi everyone! I joined the group a few weeks ago but haven't said hi untill now. I'm halfway through stage 1 and had to take an unscheduled 2 week break because I got sick and my husband broke his hand. I'm hoping to get back today. I really want to finish stage 1 because I'm getting a little bored with it. I like seeing my…

I can't eat poptarts because I'M ADDICTED! I just have to stay away because they stare at me until I eat the whole box. And even having one is 200 calories and they don't fill me up at all. I do have them occasionaly on long run days because I burn so many calories but otherwise they are VERY dangerous for me. Worse than…
