You're a good husband!! Good for you.

I used to feel that way too. I was so uncomfortable running outside in front of people. I would run on quieter paths like a bike path or something. But to be honest you will probably inspire people! They see you trying to better yourself and only really stupid people will think less of you! Most people will say good for…

You need to do less cardio and eat more. Yes. I mean it. Don't be afraid to eat. Check out New Rules of Lifting for Women. You aren't exactly doing the correct exercise to "tone-up." If you want more energy you need more food and to build muscle you need more food. If you want more information or suggestions you can add me.

Hi!
-
Well...I'm a little slower, my baby is 10 months but I had a hard time with PPD and the winter was long for me but I'm back at it and want to have a good summer.
-
I have done the 30 day Shred and Ripped in 30 too

Nice. I don't have anything in mind yet but I'm open to something coming up. Does finally making plans with a friend I've been procrastinating on count?
-
Oh man. I just read this...too late for the salt today. Lots of water.

I like this. I think it helps me tremendously but I always seem to stop doing it for months and then go back. I'm going to write today. Thanks!

I wish I would have seen this yesterday

Just joined. This group seems like exactly what I need. I'm a stay at home mom and getting lazy lately out of boredom. It is true for me that the more I have on my plate the more I actually get done. If I have nothing that I really HAVE to do for the day I don't. Yeah I should clean, or exercise, or take a nap....then I do…

I just made some grilled chicken and veggie kabobs yesterday. They were amazing! I could eat them all the time. I cubed some boneless skinless chicken breasts and marinated them in a white wine and herb seasoning packet. Then I cut up zucchini, red onions, red peppers, and grape tomatoes and marinated those in the same…

I like cottage cheese with everything! Soup, yogurt, beans, meat, rice, tomato sauce, veggies, lasagna, crackers, salad, tuna. Had some for dinner...and a snack lol. Also, ricotta cheese, yogurt, and trail mix are yummy together!

Cool! I agree with you and I always wondered how accurate the calories burned was. I noticed when I was folding laundry I got a lot of "steps" but like you said pushing a shopping cart didn't register as many so I figured it kind of balanced out throughout the day. I do have mine synced to MFP and it's irritating. It gives…

Thanks everyone. I'm almost positive it's the protein powder. I ate regularly today and no protein shake and I'm fine. I think you are right and I was overdoing it. I've never had that much a problem before with it but I never had two shakes a day either. I was using super advanced whey isolate by body fortress.…

Baby #2 here. She's 7 months and I'm finally feeling a little normal again.

Great job Ams. This is what I need because I've been wanting to get up and get a workout in. Just to let everyone know you can youtube some videos like Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred if you can't get to a gym. All you need are hand weights. This is my plan for the week.
-
I'm up too Ams :( but I'm not surprised. I've been eating terrible and I also have a UTI so I'm hoping that has something to do with it? Week 1: 165.1lbs Week 2: 167.1lbs
-
Week 1: 165.1lbs

So should we put our weight in for today or will we start next Wednesday?

I'm Liesel. I currently weigh about 165lbs at 5'1". I started changing my lifestyle and trying to lose weight about 3 years ago. My heighest weight was 180lbs. I got down to 150lbs and then was pregnant with my second child. I am now 3 months post-pardum. I gained 35lbs with my pregnancy and lost 20 right away. Now I'm…

Thanks for the info!

Cottage Cheese or oatmeal is what I would suggest.

Until the my son was about 2-2.5years I wished I could stay home all the time. As he got older though we both needed more than eachother. He needed to be around other kids his age and in a more creative environment. I needed more of a routine and some adults other than my husband and mom to talk to. I would say it's…

It really is intimidating when you cross to that side of the gym. I always have a plan and wearing headphones helps get me in the zone and ignore everyone else.

Eggplant parmesan. Yum! Just look it up on allrecipes.com.

This made me so happy!! I probably look like a fool laughing so hard at work. Hahaha!
