After 4 months and 20lbs, one of my co-workers asked how much weight I have lost and said I look great! She did not know I have been "dieting"! Yay! Someone who sees me everyday noticed!

I agree! I have a full time demanding career, and I have a husband and four kids, there is no way I would have that kind of time. We are active participants in our community and church as well, so working out 30 -45 minutes a day works perfect for me. 3 hours as a beginner and your body will hurt!

Great topic and advice. I had this same weight loss revelation in April click with me and have lost 15lbs in 3 months. I plan to continue in this manner more or less as it is working without stressing me, causing diet anxiety, making me feel guilty or anything else. Just plain and simple! Best wishes to all of you!

It's OK to do that; it seems to be part of our journey. Don't over think it or make more of what happened than you need to, just forgive yourself and move on. I periodically garden, as well, and sometimes I log it because I sit in an office all day and it may be my only physical activity of the day (I always under estimate the time, though). I do not do it to eat back the calories, for me it is just to keep track of what I did other than sit on that particular day!
