No, I don't have a HRM. I've been using the myfitnesspal data base as far as calories burned.

I don't get it.... I worked out doing a 20 minute Jillian Michael's kickboxing workout, sit-ups, food prep, shoveling snow, walking the dog, etc., yet I only burned 477 calories. What am I doing wrong? I see myfitnesspal friends burning way more calories is less time. I feel like I'm working my butt off, yet not even…

That's what I'm talking about!!!! That's 572 daily if you work out 7 days a week. I need to hit 800 cal burn daily, since I'll only be able to work out Monday thru Friday this week! :bigsmile:

2014 calories burnt this week total.... after black Friday shopping, walking Leon, and cross training after work. Plus, didn't go up for Thanksgiving seconds! Mission completed.

664 calories burnt so far this week... 400+ calories burnt yesturday alone. I feel so much better after running again! Besides yesturday, my workouts only consisted of walking my dog in the morning.

I'm planning on continuing to watch what I eat, and hopefully start stepping up my exercise. I've been kind of lazy lately. Just no motivation to work out after work. Black Friday should be an awesome workout.... start shopping at 12am - about 10am! Whoo hoo!!!

So are I'm eating well, but cannot bring myself to exercise. I feel like being sick and recovering has just drained my energy completely. Luckily, I got my butt in gear and walked Leon (my yorkie) today.

I've met with a dietitian several times about portions and what my plate should look like, but it's a struggle to plan these things out and meet calorie goal as well. I've never done the 30 day shed, but it sounds interesting. Can someone explain to me what kind of workout it is (besides the typical "JM is going to kick your butt" workout)? Please give me an example of a typical workout on this.

Hate to say it, but I'm out this week. Being sick is not helping my motivation. Sticking to my 1200 calorie meal plan and walking Leon, my yorkie, in the morning.

I try to pre-plan what I am going to eat the day before. 1200 calories is tough. I'm either 100 calories over or like 60 under. Any thoughts or suggestions on a great meal or day of meals/snacks?
