I sweat when I work out - giant, huge buckets of sweat. Funny enough, I've come to look at it as a badge of honor, sort of a physical representation of how hard I'm hitting the equipment. Please don't worry about what other people are thinking or that they are looking at you. Almost everyone is far to into their own…

I'm going through a bit of this myself, having just seen a number on my scale that I haven't seen in over a decade. I keep reminding myself to take some deep breaths and to keep moving forward. My fears will not be bigger than my success.

Congrats to you on your success! Way to make healthy, sustainable changes!

Hello! Glad to hear you sounding so positive about your journey. I think that will go a long way towards your success. I, too, noticed that once I got moving, my mood (and the stress eating that can go along with it) improved considerably. Here's hoping the next 30 days are just as terrific for you!

Congrats! That's a pretty lively pace - good for you!

Hi, I'm Vicky. More a lurker than anything, since I'm not good at meeting people, but have gained a lot of great info and like being somewhere where other people are taking the same journey. Love critters, Counting Crows (and piles of other bands), and working on making myself a stronger, healthier person.

I don't sweat pre-period weight if I know I'm doing the work and eating properly. The weight will disappear when my period is over. As to PMS cravings, I have found that a chocolate protein powder, banana, almond butter and almond milk smoothie/shake does wonders for taking the edge off of sugar/chocolate cravings.

Bump so I can read this thread as it develops.

I'll raise a glass on behalf of Chardonnays. I do not enjoy drinks at room temperature, so that leaves me n the white wine side of the glass. My current fave is Cupcake Chardonnay.

Huge thank you to everyone for posting their pics! For someone like me who is just starting out, it is wonderful to see that hard work and time will bring about the changes we want to see. Hope to have pics of my own to post in a few months. In the meantime, thank you for the inspiration.

Congrats on your progress thus far - very well done!

My husband has always been incredibly supportive of me, regardless of my size. He celebrates my victories, has always called me "beautiful" as a nickname, and tells me every day that I look terrific and whether its complimenting my hair, my blouse or my *kitten*, he will find something specific to mention so he doesn't…

My condolences on your loss. It is always hard.
