Thanks so much for the info! This was helpful! I just did W4D3 of C25K and my max HR was 175 and the average was 140.

Attempted W4D2 today...but it is 30 degrees out and 15mph winds. Needless to say, I walked more than I would have liked. I wanted to get 3 miles in - I did and it took me 40 min. Not too bad for only really running about 12-13 minutes of it. So, how do we find this group next week - will a new thread start? I'm new this…

Well, I gave W4D1 my best shot today! I took a walking break 3 min into my first 5 min. run. On the second 5 min run, I went 3min 30 sec before taking a 30 sec. walking break. I really think I'll be repeating week four!! Just hoping that on my next run I will actually be able to run for atleast one of the full 5 min. reps.…

So glad to find this thread! I will be doing W3D3 tomorrow. I was thrilled to actually be able to do a 3 min. run!!! I'm a little nervous about week 4 though - running for 5 min!?!?! I use the runhelper C25K app on my iPod touch - love it because while it tells me when to walk/run - it also allows me to play my own music!

I am not a huge fan of fish either, but I LOVE the Lean Cuisine Tortilla Crusted Fish and rice. I'm having that for lunch today! Also - what about scrambled eggs or an egg salad sandwich? Tomato soup? We do pb&j for the kids too...

I have 9 year old twin girls. I also have an 11 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. So, I had an almost 2 year old when the twins were born. One twin had "colic" BAD the first 6 months - it was a NIGHTMARE! Things are so much easier now. But, regarding the whol "doing stuff at the same time" - they would alwas puke…

Subway serves the breakfast sandwiches on a light wheat english muffin - you can ask for bread if you want, but the come on the english muffin. And ask for the eggs to be egg white only.

THANK YOU!!!!

The SubWay breakfast sandwiches are really good and low fat/calorie!

Thanks guys! Yes, I know I will need to update my weight on here because chances are it will weigh differently than my old one... That is why I want to get one now, before I get too far down the road! :-)

Sorry -- no advice, but I'm right there with you! Frustrated.

My daughters are: Shelby, Sidney and Sawyer. My son is: Porter. Pics are on my ticker on my profile! They are 11, 9, 9, and 4.

That is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! You go girl!!!

I'd love to be a part of this group! I have been between 175 and 178 for so long now. I just renewed my license today and listed my weight as 165 - so NOW I HAVE to achieve it! Otherwise - I'd be a liar! Here's to hitting the 160's soon!
-
I have to get my license renewed tomorrow! Think I'll just leave my "goal" weight on the license! Hopefully I won't be a liar much longer!

Glad you posted...I was about to ask the same question!

personnally, with 4 kids and a full time job, these are my life saver! I rarely pack a lunch, so keeping these in the freezer at work is way better than getting the urge to run through a drive thru! I think they tast great! I just started keeping track of my sodium on here so I will be aware of the amounts and eat other…

I'm experiencing the exact same thing! It is so frustrating to not see the scale moving after two weeks of this, but I do feel I'm starting to tone some. I'll be following this topic to see what others say!
-
Good Luck! This is the right place to be!
-
Great Job!!!! You look great and so happy!

I'm a 37 (almost 38) year old mommy of 4 and work full time! I'm ready to make time for ME to get fit and shed 20 lbs!
-
I'm feeling frustrated as well. I haven't lost a thing yet and have been incredibly anal about logging and exercising. All I can say is stick with it - no matter what the scale says, we are still getting healthier!
-
So there with you on the flappy tummy. I have 4 kids - 11, 9, 9 and 4. The twins REALLY did me in!!! I'm on a mission though and hope I start to see a notice soon! Friend me if you want and we can lose the flappy stuff together!
-
Feel free to add me! I'm new as well. I have 4 kids: 11, 9, 9, and 4. Still carrying my "baby weight"! I'm looking forward to meeting my goals through MFP!!!

I'm right there with you! I've finally had it though and am ready to do this! I have 4 children, they are older now, but I had 3 under the age of 2 for awhile! (a set of twins in there!) And it doesn't get easier to find the time to work out - so I'm commiting to MAKE the time - for me. I know you can do the same!!!!

Thanks Jelly Bean! That is why I'm on here...to get support like that! You are right on!
