"Where on Earth are Linda, Mary Kay, Donna, Cat, Stephanie, Carol and Wendy?(and, might I add Joanne?) I've worked out with them for years and then they disappear." True. Same guitar different riff...when it comes to her new walkers, we know little or nothing about them which makes it hard to care. I've been doing the Blue…

TERRIFIC Pinky.... :)

Just musing out loud Brenda...maybe Leslie is "walked out." Maybe she needs a challenge to her own personal fitness(and ours as well). You wouldn't want anything too strenuous, because none of us is 25 anymore(forget 21 Day Fix). Sooo...what about a ballet workout? What would you suggest to Leslie to reinvigorate her…

Brenda...thank you for the review. I plan to pass for now. I'm only capable of doing 1-2 steps forward/back and the same side to side so it's not worth it at this point. The fact that she's missing cues isn't encouraging either. Ann, I LOVED what you said about putting Leslie's kids through college-too true. It's too bad…

Brenda, 2.7 today and 91 overall-you AMAZE me...you are a ROCK AND ROLL monster, woman!!! Keep walking strong, sister!!! :D
-
I'm on restriction(explain later, once I calm down), am only allowed to do 20 minutes a day for the forseeable future. I did warm up and blue mile(my usual) today.

Bandit- like Zichab said, the "colors" walk is Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan. It is five different miles that're color coded- blue, yellow, green, red and purple-plus warm up, cool down and short toning routines you can add to your workout. Leslie has a preprogrammed workout ready to go for you, or you can use the menu list to…

Bandit, I honestly hope the best healing for your dad's recovery. Your faithfulness to him will be rewarded, for sure. You are a VERY STRONG woman inside and out-thanks for sharing "you" with us.

Pinky, 5:30 AM?!?! How do you do it? I REALLY respect you for this but it would SO not be me!!!

Did WW earlier this year...lost 13 pounds. Even if you do the Online Only program, which is twenty a month, you still have 24/7 access to online coaching. $40 will get you the meetings and $60 will get you personalized coaching 1 on 1. WW works, no question-just VERY pricey if you're on an extremely fixed income.

INCINERATE those miles, sisters...we're ALL winners!!!!! :)

10-21: warm up and Blue mile 5DWP 1 mile

Another vote for Leslie Sansone...I have cerebral palsy and this-with modifications- is the only workout I can do.
-
Welcome Anda257...good to have you here!!! :)
-
Pinky...I have used the 1 Mile In Home Walk, Silver Walk and Women's Walk. They are GREAT for doing a restart. LOVE it!!!! :)
-
Left a message over on Leslie's site explaining the situation and asking for mod help. Will keep you posted. :)
-
Brenda and Coopscoopc...there should be a e-mail login option. I know I've seen one there in the past. I think part of the problem is that Leslie's walk club, Walk Social is powered by Facebook. So they encourage people to log in that way. Maybe try messaging a mod or someone over there...I will go have a look.

You ROCK Pinky...what's your new goal now?
-
GREAT walking Ann... :)
-
Coopscoopc, let me know what you think of the WAH site...you're welcome!!! That lost pound is TERRIFIC!!! Good for you on tracking workouts. Small steps mean big changes. :)
-
NICE job on the 2 mile Walk This Way Pinky!!!
-
Ann and LilyMay...thanks SO MUCH for your prayers and support-it REALLY means a lot. :)
-
Pinky and Zichab...you both REALLY hit your goals...FANTASTIC!!!! 7 miles outside is a COMMITMENT on a cold day!!!! But 2.5 miles inside is an equal commitment, and some days that's like running a marathon, let me tell you. CONGRATS to you both... :)

Oh, I forgot Thursday before all this happened, I finally got the stuck DVD player in my PC open and popped in 5DWP. To my own amazement, I did warm up, blue, yellow, green and a part of the purple mile before I needed to sit down. 3.25 miles. Whoa... :)

Yesterday, 0 miles, today no miles. Reason is the med nurse caught me doing Leslie, and since PT had initially said yes to LS but later changed their stance because they didn't know if this is safe for me. I basically had a mini meltdown because of weight issues, circulation, stamina and endurance-I don't see how I can…

Coopscoopc, WAH stands for Walk At Home, Leslie's official website(that's what I was referring to) and also the name of her program. There is a library of 10 free videos you can use in her free Walk Social walk club(and plenty of other things too) and I found 3 Fast Miles there. It's a pretty cool site-lots of great…

Scoobees, thank you for your input. When you've had a chance to process the whole system, can you write about the pros and cons versus other Leslie DVDs you have? I'm trying to win one from Leslie's official FB group. So far no luck, but I'm NOT giving up... :) If I have to save up I want to make an informed decision.
-
Ann, I'm eating your dust...lol. Seriously you're MORE than halfway there.... :)
-
LilyMay...5 miles- IMPRESSIVE
-
Hey Bandit...sending up prayers for your dad's recovery. Have you ever been to Leslie's website? Her(free) Walk Social club has 10 videos ready to go. One is the 1 mile in home walk...if you did that getting up in the AM you'd still be able to get in a mile or two a day. :)
