Though you cant necessarily target where you want to lose fat, you can utilize the muscles necessary to push your body in the right direction... I personally like blogilates back workouts. I highly recommend jillian michaels, especially for losing weight around the mid section. For me the super hula hoop is my fav, it burns about 70-80 calories. I usually do it for the 10 minutes and by the next day my sides and thighs are so sore. I also like the snow ball fight, its a good workout on the thighs :)

I cant work out at all at a gym or out in public in general. So, I put on some DVDs and get to it. I find that if i make it fun then I have no issues getting sweaty and burning the calories. I asked for a kinect this passed xmas and its helped a lot with some good cardio exercises and well as the jillian michaels dvds.

It depends. If your losing fat around your midsection, then yes.. your body shape will be altered. My body shape was altered slightly when I did it.. but then again, I have quite a bit of weight to lose.

I work in a long term care facility and burn about 1500-2000 calories at work. I think MFP calculated you a little bit high. If you put yourself as sedentary I would definitely change it to lighly active and dont log your work calories.

If you deprive yourself your more likely to succumb to cravings and go overboard. Try using laughing cow wedges, or a lighter cheese. Measure it out and be very accurate with it. Also, If you go to subway you can still have cheese just ask for shredded (because you get less of it) or ask for half the cheese. =)

I actually recommend rice pasta, its 100% whole grain rice formed into pasta noodles and tastes exactly like regular white pasta. I buy the 'Rizopia" brand... you cook it the same, it tastes the same, but its way better for you. =)

I tried to do the same thing in the past. I would buy the smart ones meals for my dinners because I was too busy to cook...
