Hi Jess, after reading your post early last week i knew what was coming up for me today and you were right i did astonish myself! I just managed to run for a full 20 minutes without stopping and it felt ok! By now you have probably made a start on week 6- hope its going well for you!

I have just completed wk4 and will do wk5, day 1 on Friday. I stupidly just googled what Laura (for those who don't use the podcast, she is the 'trainer') has in store for me: Eeeekkk! Hey, I always struggle but have found that some of the lowers ones are the tandorri dishes. Have you tried Paneer Shashlik, i really like that and it is a lot lower than some of the dishes on the menu. Veg curry is always lower too. I always order something like this and have a spoonful of rice from my boyfriends order.…

Know EXACTLY what you mean, i felt the same. Now on Wk4, run 2 (tomorrow) and it is amazing how far you come in such a short amount of time. Its also scary how quick you loose fitness though! Im excited about running 5k, then hoping to go on to 10k.. Well done :)

I have mine open to friends (I think?!). As newcomer to MFP, the diaries have really helped me with meal ideas. So for me personally I think open diaries have been extremely helpful, but I understand that some people want to keep that private. I think it's nice to have the option!

Hey, it does get easier, I was exactly the same. I'm now at week 4 and I can honestly say its getting better. Stick with it and don't be too hard on yourself. Leaving a rest day is also very important. Good luck with the next run, I'm sure you will do fab, let us know! X

Some really great tips on here. I have just started week 4, so excited about getting to 30 minutes of running, slightly scared about wk5, run 3 now though ;)!! Some really motivational people here, thanks for posting!

Well done. Ive just completed Wk3, run 3, so time to start Wk4 Saturday! I cannot wait until i can run solidly for 10 minutes. Only just found this board, so pleased I did, as it really motivates me :)
