I have a strange place I lose weight first too apparently! My neck! I felt like my necklace had been getting tighter before I joined MFP. Then lately it felt more loose, so just to be sure I wasn't crazy I measured my neck and I had lost an inch! No where else, just my neck... so weird! But I'll take it!

I am very sorry I misunderstood your post. Good luck on your journey!

My husband and I have separate finances and we are similar A) makes $59k and B) makes $25k...... My husband never throws it in my face that he pays the rent which is $900 a month.... That's the part of the original post that worries me. We are just fine with separate finances but if anything I feel bad that I can't…

Hmmmm, is it OK to judge others based on their weight? (No should be the answer here) So why is it ok to hate yourself because of your weight? Do I sometimes feel uncomfortable around others and get upset when I have outgrown clothes? Yes. Do I hate myself and think I am gross and disgusting? NO!!!! You guys have to work…

Thanks to everyone for sharing stories and pictures!!! All these success stories keep me motivated every night! Before I joined MFP I felt like the only people that could lose 100 lbs in a year were on shows like The Biggest Loser but now I realize that anyone can do it with a little hard work and perseverance! Thanks so…

Good job. When there is a drastic change in caloric intake and added movement the pounds can just melt right off. Keep it up!

Been there, totally know what you are talking about! Can't wait for this NSV and about a dozen others that I will probably not be brave enough to post but will do the OMG that's so awesome cheer and dance when it happens!

I've always had disproportionate boobs for my size like size B's on a size D frame. So unfair! I got all this extra fat and none in the boobs! Anyhow, I think mine may shrink but as I lose weight they'll look larger because my tummy won't stick out past my boobs! But if that isn't the case I think if I lose all 157 lbs…

lol me too! Great job!

Nice job. I keep wondering what my body will look like when I lose, how much loose skin I'll have... Your arms look awesome! and tummy too! I hope I can have similar effects although I am heavier than you. Anyhow, great job!

Great job!!! Love your grit!

People are always telling me I've lost weight, even when I've gained. I don't know if they just wish I would lose weight so it's like wishful thinking on their part or if my weight fluctuates so much it makes me look different all the time. OR could be the clothes I wear. Weird. I think sometimes people don't say anything…

That's funny! What a pleasant but strange surprise! : D

Love your month by month pics! Good job and great documentation!

Do it by percentage lost like they do on the biggest loser. We did this at my work a long time ago and it was a great motivator!
