Good job fighting those temptations.

I commend you. I know how hard that is to do. Way to to go.

Good job!

TOTALLY AGREE! If I am not mistaken the OP didn't ask for advice if she should or shouldn't do it. I have noticed a lot of posters like to give unwanted advice but not answer the actual question. Until someone walks in your shoes and has your feelings then they do not know what is best for you. Good luck with your surgery!!

Thanks for the comments. I know how to do it. I have dieted on and off for years. I know what to do it is just doing it and sticking with it. I am sticking with my goal of 60. I will be happy with 50.

I have a lot of weight too loose and know that I can lose it faster than someone who doesn't have that much to lose. I know that losing too fast is dangerous and at risk to put it back on etc. However, it is still my goal. We go on vacation in Sept. As far as excess skin I know that no matter what or how slow I lose it I…

Pam-I have been on metformin for about 6 years now. Also have insulin resistance. PCOS is just such a lovely syndrome. :(

Of course anyone going to take medication while ttc or pregnant should ask their dr. I know many women who baby aspirin was the key to them being able to carry the pregnancy to term. Just like everything I am sure there is controversy over it. Just letting everyone know what worked for me and others I know. The best…

Jalara-Hope this is your cycle! I am about 1.5 weeks behind you.

Fitterpam-That totally sucks that he had the surgery and it still didn't work. I sure hope that yall only have to go through one IVF!! Ivy-I think Pam done a great job of answering your questions. I do not have a cycle due to the PCOS unless I take BCP. Well I have a cycle maybe 1 or 2 a year. And apparently those one or 2…

I just started reading a lot of the post today and I have already noticed that. WTH is wrong with people? I totally agree! No one wants to surround themselves with such negativity anyway.
-
Great job! Can't wait to get there myself.

YAY!!! Good job

Girl you look great! Keep it up!!

Very good!

Fitterpam-Thanks! I think femara is an excellent medication! I have my 3 year old son because of it. Hopefully it will work well for you too. Nothing is really covered by my insurance. But since femara is a cancer agent my insurance does cover it. It would have been around 45 with insurance but I went to the femara website…

lukimakamia-I hate that he was diagnosed with diabetes but it could very well be your answer to the unexplained fertility. If he could get his sugars under control then you just might see that BFP. Hope this is yall's answer!

I am currently TTC with fertility meds. I do have a 3 year old I conceived on the same meds-Femara. I have PCOS and insulin resistance. I am about 13lbs heavier this time than I was when I conceived my son. When TTC my son I lost 60lbs and did not get pregnant like I was told I would. Gained 40 back, took femara and got…

Thank you! Gonna have to check that thread out.

Good luck! I tried back in Sept and overstimmed. Was in some pain for about a week. I sure hope it doesn't happen this time as well. A lot of dr's say "if you would lose at least 10% of your weight you could get pregnant." HA doc's it doesn't always work that way.

You could be retaining it. Are your feet swollen? Hands? Face? To accurately determine if you are getting rid of it you would have to measure intake and output.
