Quite inspiring! I'm 5'9 1/2" and started at right around 200. About 10 years ago (pre-babies!) I was able to get down to 145ish but I'm not proud to say I did it in unhealthy ways. I looked fantastic though, and if I'm able to get there the *right* way I'd love to be that weight again, or perhaps 155-160ish is more…

I just happened to be near the "health food/weight loss/protein supplement" section of the grocery tonight picking up a prescription. For the heck of it I took a look at some of the "natural" protein bars. In the past I've always been impressed with Kashi as a producer of processed foods because they keep the ingredients…

I went out and bought a juicer the day I watched that movie. It's now gathering dust in the garage. Although I was able to lose a lot of weight quickly, I just didn't find it sustainable enough long term. Glad it is working for you though! Good luck in yours as well!

I'll tell you what - stick with it! I've been gradually switching over and it does take time to get used to the longer prep and the taste difference, but once you do it's so wonderful! I can't stand most things that come from boxes now, and I used to LOVE them. My daughter has been pretty much on a whole, natural diet…

That's interesting that you say inspiring. If I were reading this story about someone else I suppose I might say the same thing, but since I know it's me it comes with all my baggage - insecurities, screw-ups, etc. Nice to see it from another perspective so thank you! I did add you :)

I'm not here to gain, but I want to say good luck on your journey! I'm a big believer in eating healthy no matter what your weight or goals, so feel free to add me if you'd like. I know a lil bit about nutrition ;)
