Thanks everyone... I guess I'm just curious to know if anyone has actually used garcinia and what they thought about the experience, if they liked it/didn't like it, if they saw results and if they would or wouldn't recommend it.... ??

Did you just start a new workout program by chance? It is very likely that you are gaining muscle while losing inches at the same time. The number on your scale shouldn't matter near as much as your measurements!

My best advice would be this: Whenever you feel like you want to eat your emotions away, go workout instead! Working out is a tremendously great way to let off some steam! Plus, you can act like the punching bag in front of you is your soon to be ex ;) I promise you you'll feel so much better getting all your emotions out…

BE CONSISTENT!!! Log everything you put in your mouth. What you eat in private, you wear in public. Don't starve yourself. If you restrict your calories too much, your body will catch up with you and start storing the little cals you do eat! Set realistic goals. It's easier and more rewarding when you hit a bunch of small…

You can eat 1200 cals of junk food in about 12 mins.....OR you can eat 1200 cals of clean food in 12 HOURS. Personally I'd rather eat all day long than only eat for 12 mins out of the day!!! ;)

Most days I don't quite log to 1100 cals but I am also to the point in my journey where I can safely grab a handful of grapes, or a hershey kiss, a couple bites of my husbands food and not ruin my calories for the day, so even though my diary looks low....I'm probably getting an additional 400-500 cals on top of what I…

My words of advice would be "Be consistent!" You said you've done crash diets (tip: those NEVER work and you end up gaining all the weight back the minute you get hungry). You also said you tried Insanity for a month (tip: keep in mind that Insanity is not a weight loss program, it is a workout program. It's possible that…

"Within calorie range(mostly)" seems to stand out to me. If (mostly) you are eating an extra 1000 calories here and there, you're going to maintain your weight. Sounds like you need to put your true food calories in check and/or step up the intensity in your exercises. Weight loss is not some medical mystery, it's simple…

Frozen grapes! They also taste like candy if you're craving something sweet.

I'm doing my first 5K in 10 days....The Color Blaze!!! I was nervous when I signed up back in January, but as long as you train for it you'll do fine! I'm more than ready for mine!!!

I've recently just started running first thing in the morning and I love it...never in a million years thought I would be the type of person who would wake up early and decide to go for a run! Quick Tip: Sleep in your workout clothes and put your shoes at the end of your bed, the less you have to do to 'get ready', the…

Hershey's Dark Chocolate Kisses. They're only about 20 calories per kiss.

Spaghetti squash lasagna - can have a huge plate full for less than 400 calories! Hershey's dark chocolate kisses - I have at least 2 a day....every. single. day. And pretty much any frozen fruit - makes a great "I-think-I'm-hungry-but-probably-just-bored-so-I'll-go-check-the-fridge/freezer-to-see-what-I-can-munch-on"…

We have Spaghetti squash lasagna all the time and it's a HUGE plate full of food for only about 350 calories! It's 1-2 cups of squash (that's a lot of squash too!!!), 3 oz of 80/20 ground beef, 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Huntz Herb and Garlic sauce, topped with 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese, wah-la!! Seriously…

You can burn up to 300 calories a day just by 'fidgeting'....shaking your leg while you're sitting down, using your feet to rock yourself in a rocking chair, tapping your foot while standing in line somewhere, etc. Seems silly but hey, any kind of movement helps you burn calories! haha

I'm in week 3 of the Insanity workouts and I'm loving it! Definitely go at your own pace...take breaks when you need to but try to keep moving. JUST A LITTLE HEADS UP...in these workouts you will be using muscles that you probably didn't know you had so don't be surprised if you gain a couple pounds before you lose a…

My best advice for you would be, if you don't know how many calories are in it, then don't eat it!! If you really want to make this work you have to be very conscious of what you are putting in your mouth. You should be counting every calorie because guesstimates can be WAY wrong and you end up not getting the results you…

In regards to my profile pic: I thought so too when I first saw it, but I had a couple weeks where I only lost 1 pound and would be a little disappointed with that....but then I look at my pic and say damn, if that's what one pound looks like, I'm okay with that!!! LOL

Hi, I think your goal of losing 50lbs in a year is absolutely doable! I'm 5' (and one half inch, very important of course!) I started out at 251 lbs (47.7 BMI) and have lost 72 lbs (33.4 BMI) in less than 6 months. I exercise 6 days a week for about an hour to an hour and a half. (usually jogging at 5mph, Wii Just Dance…

I think, especially when you are just starting out, you can't help but weigh yourself every day. You want to see your progress and you want to see your results in the form of a number. As long as you don't obsess over that number, I think you'll be fine. Understand that it's possible to gain or lose 3-5lbs a day. Also…
