  • Nevermind! figured it out! :-P
  • First of all.. that's awesome! Second of all.. newb question.. what's NSV?
  • Love my FitBit! If I do some other workout that doesn't include steps (such as cycling or strength) I add those into MFP.... Plus I'd rather undercut my calories than overstate them :) Plus, the sleep thing is kinda a fun feature (though not that useful)
  • I too have a FitBit Ultra and I am totally in love with it! Since I connected it with MFP i've had to adjust some things, and I dont' double log my excercise/food. I do my food in MFP and let fit bit adjust my workouts.... I would DEFINITELY recommend it.... for someone like me who needs/wants that constant motivation, and…
  • Hey! Be PROUD of the RPG! :-) And grats on a million... here's to the next million!
  • If it hasn't been mentioned already, the Shake Mix that Visalus provides is absolutely phenomenal. I took it to my doctor and she said that while she never recommends replacing two meals with a shake, it's a great way to get all the vitamins and nutrients I need. Definitely would recommend it, and it's delicious!
  • It's amazing the difference you'll find when you actually keep track of these things! I'm only 8 pounds down but just being conscious of my choices everyday is... just great! Best of luck!!!

  • Hey there! I'm from Cali too!
  • HI everyone! Davis here... so close to Sacramento! I just started a meetup page for MFP/FitBit users... feel free to join! It's brand new, and I think i was the only member at the time... but feel free to join me! http://www.meetup.com/Sacramento-Area-FitBit-Users/ Jen
  • I would suggest (and this was hard for me!) to wait to weigh yourself for two to three weeks. I could only make it 2 weeks before I was dying to know, but my counselor told me she was going to have me wait 6 weeks! I'm glad I did though... the initial couple weeks were hell (and still continue to be a struggle!) but it…
  • I think the hardest part for me, and for a lot of people, is that lack of instant gratification that we expect in today's world. Be patient, stick with it, and you'll see results. MFP isn't a diet... it's a measure of accountability. Don't lie to it, and you'll start seeing some good results. I was highly upset at first…
  • You started where I'm starting and you're ending where I'd like to end up... thanks for sharing!!! You look great!
  • Sacramento, CA. And if anyone in the area is interested in joining a meetup group for myfitness pal and/or fitbit users, go to the link below and become a member! I just started this page today! http://www.meetup.com/Sacramento-Area-FitBit-Users/
  • Lack of motivation is a tough hurdle to overcome... but you need to find that one little thing that makes you say "I can do this!" no matter what! YOU CAN DO IT!
  • You can do it! Find the people/things that motivate you and speak up about your goals! You'd be surprised how supportive people can be when they think they're going to be able to help you. :) Does your apartment allow dogs? A great reason to walk everyday! Good luck to you!
  • MFP is a great tool to keep an eye on what your'e doing and to be held accountable. The key is to not lie to yourself, or it, and you'll do great! And even on those days where youw ant to say "eff it", DON'T! :-) I am loving it! Best of luck to you!
  • Ok... So... you might think I'm weird... but you should consider some of the music they choose for Dance Dance Revolution. Captain Jack's music especially. My Generation really gets me going.... so does Stomp to my Beat.... I played a lot of DDR in college... so I had some of those songs downloaded to my computer... turns…
  • Aha! Same here. Though my journey began when I realized that I no longer wanted to be in photos (I'm very photogenic) and that having sex with my boyfriend required lights off and easy, simple positions that required little effort on my part. I'm sick and tired of buying from the "Womans" section of stores... lots of ugly…
