  • After having two babies, my stretch marks turned to a silvery-white after a few months. Mine didn't stay purple very long. I never used any products on them. Just let time do its thing.
  • Cottage cheese topped with mandarin oranges. Pineapple works too. Or, sometimes I have a low fat ice cream treat. Because I'm human.
  • I am a mother and I play trombone. Also, in college, I was a music major whose primary instrument was trombone and a lot of my friends called me "Mama T." (T is my first initial).
  • I almost always eat back most (not all) of my burned calories. I try to make it something with protein, like string cheese. I've lost 34 pounds since September, so I'd say it works. Just do what works best for you!
  • Even though my recipe calls for four, I always use three bananas for banana bread. It's always delicious. Just make sure you have somebody to share it with. You don't want all those calories to yourself. :-)
  • I'll be spending the evening with my little boys, and my husband when he gets home from work. I wouldn't be surprised if we watched the Puppy Bowl. It's pretty much just a normal Sunday for us. We don't watch football.
  • I know a lot of women *think* they can only have 1200 calories a day, but MFP allows me over 1400 a day (net) and I have been losing over a pound every week. Maybe that's not fast enough for some people, but I've lost 29 pounds so far and feel great.
  • I used to teach middle school band and general music until I became a mom. Now I stay home with my kids. I'm an assistant marching band director for a local high school every fall. Good to see a fellow band director on here!
