Total girl crush commencing. She's gorgeous!

It's not magical, no. But the simple fact of the matter is fresh-pressed juices are vitamin bombs. There's a reason people tout their benefits.

It was, indeed. It is considered a YA novel, so that's something to take into consideration if that's not really your thing. But it's loads of fun. I think the second might have been more so (for me) - I laughed aloud on several occasions.

Some great alternativees for wheat would be brown rice, wild rice, or quinoa. The latter not only has fiber, but protein, as well. One thing you should strive for is a balance between your carbs and protein... fish and chicken is fine if that's all you like. As another poster said, there are a lot of ways to prepare meat…

I just finished Hollow City and have moved on to Pride & Prejudice & Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith. It's EXACTLY what it sounds like and it's a ton of fun if you appreciate the original. I think what @sault_girl mentioned is a good idea... maybe including a little one-liner or brief description. Here's the opening…

@clararandall I just finished it (and accidentally cycled through to the beginning on my Kindle.) Apparently, at the beginning of the book, there's a convenient character list detailing each peculiar's gifts. Somehow, I must've glossed right over that part. Doh!

Accept. I've seen you here and there throughout the boards and you seem lovely :)

There is one concern with losing weight too fast and that's gallstones. I think it happens to people that perhaps lose weight unhealthily, are prone to them, and aren't staying hydrated. As others said, the weight loss will eventually slow and even out and isn't uncommon to drop a great deal in the first week or two due to…

To eat more. I've never been skinny. I've been skinnyfat before, at 130 pounds, but never skinny. Yet people have seen me and thought I look ill (I didn't) or that I'd lost too much weight (I hadn't) and was starving myself (I wasn't). Their opinion, of course, was that I should eat more. I suppose it's jarring to see…

I haven't started working out regularly yet, so I'm only eating 1200(ish) calories. On days when I burn a significant amount of calories, I'll eat more. When I start burning a lot more regularly, I'll up the calorie count. I want to lose weight fast, but I don't want to be unhealthy about it, so I know 1200 calories isn't…

I 'accidentally' lost 100 pounds a few years back. One day I just went outside and took a walk, and every day I would walk more, sometimes jogging. Food allergies necessitated cutting out crappy food. Less than a year later, I was 100 lbs lighter. I honestly didn't even try, which is hilarious given all the times I DID try…

Looks are only a piece of the puzzle. You can look like Brad Pitt, but without confidence, it'll eventually wear thin. It's excellent that you're taking your health into your hands and making positive changes. It definitely pays off, in many areas of life. My advice would be to do some inner work on your journey, as well.…

Feel free to add me, guys! This site by and large is motivational, but having friends on the same journey helps :)

I have issues with my blood sugar, digestion, and endometriosis. Eating to appease one tends to anger the other. For instance, high protein (animal protein) and moderate carbs at every meal is GREAT for my blood sugar and helps keep things stable, but it completely wrecks my endo and stomach. If I eat to appease my…

My boobs. I don't get too held up on body parts I can change through diet and exercise - they have changed before, they will change again, and it's in my hands. But no matter what I do, my boobs are utterly wrecked. Nothing short of surgery will fix that.

My eyebrows, oddly enough. It trumps 'hair' by... a hair.

Classic.

Hug.

@clararandall If I was smart, I would've done that! I'm about halfway through Hollow City and just now remembering who each peculiar is.
-
Keep in mind that the first novel appeals more to children - as the series progresses, the writing matures. It's a lovely story! Granted, I'm still on book 5, but still. Also, You is on my to-read list. I read the synopsis, though... does, indeed, seem creepy!

The way I look. I have a number idea - a broad sort of goal to get to, but I'll know it when I see it in the way I look first. I might be way off with the weight goal!

I've had friends wear crop tops before who are on the larger side. I wouldn't have the confidence to pull it off myself, but they do. What's wrong with it? Aside from society deeming them unattractive, that is, which is *kitten*. If you don't like it, don't look. Simple as that. People are allowed to wear whatever they…

Yes! I forgot about that. It's a very handy tool.

@PlaydohPants It's such an amazing game. I wish they'd come out with a third :( My luck, my granny computer wouldn't be able to run it, though. Do you play PC or console? P.S. Louise is my spirit animal.

I haven't delved into transcendental meditation yet, but I do some guided meditations on the regular. Also, namaste yoga. I don't find the latter to be as spiritual as some do, though. Probably because I'm fighting hard not to fall on my face or shake myself into a pile on the floor.

Bulging forearm veins are kind of my thing, sooo... I work out at home :-|

I believe that if aliens exist, they haven't shown their faces 'round these parts due to fear because Jeff Goldblum is still alive. Will report back on the validity of this theory after his inevitable, gut-wrenching passing.

I've found that with League, the only way to learn is to play. I could teach you some basics (I'm not amazing myself), but I think the best way to delve into it is to play the tutorial, get a feel for the hand placement (which is hard at first if you haven't played PC games before), and play some bot games. Watching…
