I agree that I my abs feel SO much tighter after c25k on an incline. I walk away feeling much stronger but that feeling sort of fades. lol It must be working. i guess I just need to be more patient :)

Thank you Holton for that post on increasing calories! I am also stuck after 13 pounds lost and I am so scared to up my calorie intake. But... I am going to give it a try... and no better time bc I am on vacation right now :)

You can lose weight simply by sticking to a lower calorie diet. Walking just speeds things up a bit and helps tone. I walk and I stay within my calorie goals and I am pretty sure that eating right is what is doing it for me! It's working :) You will start to see it too. Good luck!

Yes I agree! I use the app on my ipod touch and I do not need an internet connection to look up foods, and the next time I am home it syncs up! I love it! I used to use sparkpeople but the app is just not as good.

I just noticed that I am ALWAYS over on sugar too. But I love fruit. I eat a lot of it, and a lot of yogurt. It's not like I'm chowing down on cookies all day!

I would like to find something to help as well... I did hear that drinking lots of water helps :) Nothing really seems to work for me. BUT... almost every woman has it so we are not alone.

I don't think one day going over on your calories will hurt you too much. You can't even gain a pound from 700 calories more. You may have gained water weight...

Usually a size 7 in juniors is what I'm aiming for... but now I feel like I'm starting to get to the age where I should be shopping in the womans section. I have a pair of womens size 4 jeans that I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to zip up again! They were my favs :)

I agree. i bought one at target for almost $100 and I used it once. For a half hour walking workout it said I burned 500 calories. I really doubt that!! I took it back after one day. I felt like it was a waste of money. I would rather underestimate calories burned than overestimate. :(

I have the same problem! i usually only worry about calories and sodium but when I checked back on all the sugar I have been comsuming I couldnt believe it! I do eat a lot of fruit and yogurt though...

I agree with all of this. It is so hard to get out of certain ways of thinking. For me it was the all or nothing attitude. If I ate bad for one meal I thought it was all over. I used to be the same way! I would lose 10 pounds and think "wow, I feel OK... maybe I will eat that bag of chips over there..." and I would slowly go back to my old ways and gain all that weight back! Not anymore! Every time I lose pounds or inches I am that much more determined to keep going! I love the way I feel now!…

Drink water and only eat half of the meal. I usually have them box half of it before it even comes to me. I get whatever I feel like having I just never eat the whole thing. Many meals have upwards of 1500 calories! Not worth it... and if you save some you have lunch for the next day!

I usually eat half of the southwest chicken wrap (take some home ) and all of my chips and salsa for about 600 calories... and water :(

I have some almost every day! Dark chocolate, and I always put it in my food log :) Totally worth it!

I hate excercise to... but I have found that I can walk on the treadmill for about a half an hour at a 4mph pace and still get the results I want. All while watching my favorite movies or tv shows. I try to never let myself sit in front of the tv. If I want to watch something I walk... I can not say that I love it but its…
