During a heavy bag workout at my boxing gym, I threw a hook and I guess my glove came at the bag at a weird angle, and at just the right speed. My glove deflected off the bag and I ended up punching myself in the face. No serious injuries, but my pride took a hit....no pun intended. :embarassed:

When I started my fitness regimen, I was super happy with the New Balance brand of shoes. Definitely hit your local running store and get fitted properly for a shoe that suits your activity. Good luck!

I've seen gazpacho recipes that use either a food processor or a blender. I only have a blender, but I'm wondering if the results are any different?

A pound of muscle still weighs a pound. A pound of fat also still weighs a pound. Don't mistake mass for density. Weight will fluctuate throughout the course of a day. Food and water intake, muscle recovery, medications, and a host of other things can cause that fluctuation to happen.

Just go on maintenance during your vacation and, if you can, make time for a relaxing walk, swim, etc. Most importantly: it's vacation - have fun!

My boxing gym membership, gloves, hand wraps, catch mitts, bicycle and running shoes. Lots of $$$ but well worth the investment.
