Just because I was so heavy and it puts your heart at risk to lift weights so he told me cardio would get me in shape for lifting heavy things and putting them back down. I do 5 x 5 on Monday, Weds and Fri. I take 2 to 2 1/2 hours now for each session as I do some extra lifts and negative reps and I dont rush myself. I…

No back pain but yes I did have to lean back more when I was heavy to offset the counter weight of the big gut hanging out there.

I used MFP and then adjusted my daily calorie intake to 1600 cals a day. Mostly its due to working out 10 hours a week. 2 days a week of cardio and 4 days a week lifting heavy weights.

320 days of tracking in row and only rarely over my goal.

Take it one day at a time. Plan your meals and workout for the next day and stick to it and every day will be a victory. Planning beyond that is wasted effort. You can only do today. Do today well and in just 7 days you will have done a week well and 4 of those will be a well done month and 12 of those will be a well done…

Yes, this. It worked for my sis. P.S. She used Kg weights for a year and then switched to Lbs weights and the difference was epic. Kg weights are some sort of comunist plot.

Ive been on here for 301 days in a row and never ate back my workout cals. Ive lost .51 pounds per day during that time. If you dont eat them back you lose faster.

Yes it would have been and has been since not once along the way did I reward myself with a trinket or message or anything. Rewards are not the reason for my loss. Today was weigh day and Ive lost another 3 pounds since the last weigh in. Im down 153 now.

BMI does not factor in muscular folks either. It calls them overweight because it only take height and weight and uses no other info.
