Boxing moves. You can sit, you can just stand, but jab, cross, uppercut and so on. Lean into it. It is easy on the body but gets your heart rate up and gives a nice burn :) Swimming, walking in the water, treading by moving everything, and even using water weights are good too.

Today I almost used waiting for my group to get their **** straight and okay our final to be submitted, but I decided screw that, and I danced and cleaned, walked a mile to the store, got some awesome stuff for snacks and dinners, lugged all 20lbs or so back a mile and then did my 60 squats today. I can now sit here on my…

You can find them at some clinics, body cosmetic places, and hospitals. They use it to measure your body and its composition to work on a plan to help any trouble areas. http://www.cosmedusa.com/bodpodgs

I used to be naughty, face the scale and then yell at the scale for being a terd :) Now while logging I cant really do that lol

It is interesting to see everyone's preference. I think I may stick to my Friday morning Nekkid weigh in :) I understand the wanting to see the fluctuations. I did that before so I could see the pattern my body took and figure out my nightly "gain" fluctuation.

Tansy - I am sorry that you are facing other stresses outside of the toll changing years of habits with food and exercise (hugs). Do you have access to a punching bag? Putting those frustration just into punching is great cardio and therapeutic! That is amazing what you did when you went out to eat. I did the same with my…

What is going well - Energy levels are up, and I have been making myself take in protein within the hour of waking up. Even if it is chocolate protein in my decaf! It has help to get my metabolism going in the morning. This week is the first in YEARS that I have felt hungry before I was starving! That means my body is…

Cardio! :) I also crank up the music and dance around to it while cleaning!

Classwork. That is my BIGGEST excuse. "I cannot workout because I need to finish *plug in an assignment*." It is a hard one to overcome, but lately I just suck it up and get it in during the time I just want to "relax" lol.

I am just out south of GR (wyoming area). Add me if you would like. I don't drive but I would love to become more active. This is where Nerdy chic is not so beneficial hahah.

I LOVE to cook. I make everything from scratch lol (I have to find equivalents when logging foods) What sort of things do you and your family enjoy? I can give you some recipes to try!

I also just keep moving. If I am not able to do or don't know a step I just move and try. Eventually I learn the move. :)

Yesterday I started working out again and I felt like I was going to vomit all over my living room floor. I talked to my girlfriend who has lost well over 100lbs, and she told me that I need to have a light protein snack an hour beforehand, and following my workout to help with the nausea and energy. That said stamina will…

Thanks a bunch for your tips Chris :)

It is a good thing to see, but my addiction to food kicks in and it does not like it at all so I always have to remind myself of the positive side of them going down :)
-
I always am telling myself that a big indicator of how I am doing is how I am feeling rather than the scale. Now when that moves it is AMAZING, but when I am gogogo and energized, it is also a great booster :)

Those bread-sticks will get you every time! I have to plan for those evil things :)

It is a learning process. I am on 1380 a day. Julie has it right, your body needs less, now is a time of new habits that need to be formed, and it can be difficult. Little omissions like no cheese on that sandwich you can barely taste it on anyways, or little things like that. It takes time to adjust and becomes a big…
