My hubs and I are Keto. After a couple months that we can now hug fully and not look like two T-rex wrestling, or doing the half hug thing. I missed hugging and embracing him while kissing.

I was happy to turn mine off. It easy mental sabotage when I would forget to hit the complete. For some reason it played on my anxieties even though I knew I logged (as I need to for nutritional reasons currently) my day. I would put an unhealthy abundance of focus on hitting the stupid complete when other things needed it…

It was a valid question! Thank you for the response. I have PCOS, no diabetes or insuline issues though, all hormonal. I have been eating more whole foods. There have been the occasional processed foods like deli turkey, the occasional Isopure Zero shake or Atkins meal bar for breakfast. I will be monitoring and journaling…

There was one in the fridge and I was tasting various acidic foods and and drinks. I had a sip I spit out. Depending on the acidity of the food or drink, it seems to correlate with how harsh the taste and smell is. I can smell it in products as well. Things with citric acid are horrible. I have upped my water intake to…

I have not used the sticks. I was thinking about picking up a monitor. I have been told not to use the sticks by so many. I may end up snagging some to check though.

Hello, My name is Heather. I am 36, 5'5" and 260lbs. I have been doing a Nutritional Ketogenic diet for 75 days now. I decided to do it as Nothing else has worked or has just exasperated my PCOS symptoms. My husband has been a great support and even joined me. He is at a 51lb loss, I am at a 19.6lb loss. I cannot wait…

I had 8 net carbs and spent the day at the lake! Overall good day

Welcome! Calories and exercise do minimal for me. I have to workout over an hour a day to get results when just calorie counting and I have a lot to lose. Now I can work out and am on day 33 of Keto and I have much better results. I go over my calories and I don't sweat it as long as I know it is what I needed versus…

Oh yes potatoes are horrible for yeast in dogs with issues, which is why many do not want white potatoes in their foods, often found in grain free. Also look for peas/pea protein, often used to boost the protein of a product. and of course, wheat, oatmeal, corn, and so on  Hello from Edison

I am surprised about the eggs and yeast, our Einstein (R.I.P 2013) should have been a bubble dog with allergies and yeast, whole eggs were a staple and helped so much.

My Newf is loving our new diet, and boy do I get attitude if I do not make enough for him to have a taste!

Luckily I do not need to be on metformin while doing keto. I was on it for so many years and I am seeing better results off and doing keto. I am sorry it made you dizzy!

Oh and if our child can have a cooling gel or ice pack a broccoli salad can be great.

I think different wraps and making roll-ups from a favorite meat and avocado, cheese, or cream cheese would be easy enough. Think of what you would take on a picnic with your girl and pack her lunch with those things! I commend you for trying to instill some of the better eating habits in your child early on. A less carb…

Avocado Bacon Fat Bombs 1 Avocado 1.5 oz Cream Cheese 3 Pieces (crumbled) Bacon Season to taste (you can do none, add some ranch seasonings, jalapenos, however you want to flavor them) I cannot eat the "original" fat bombs, they make me sick and just do not taste good to me.

I already am a subscriber. You are doing A-Mazing! Xo keep it up

I started nutritional ketosis on March 31st and I started on the 15th. I was craving meat, or so I thought but it was fat. I ended up making veggies in safflower oil and added some seasoning and a little salt and it helped a lot. Also I made my avocado version of ruled me's Jalapeno Popper Fat Bombs. I used split the cream…

That about sums it up.

I have PCOS, I am turning 36 on Friday. I have always be big, but active, and never felt unhealthy until after fertility treatments. So for the last year I was just blah. I got tired of it and needed to try something. Everything else was not working. I am on day 14 of Keto and am down 7lbs. I lost over 3lbs the first week…
