  • I feel ya. I just had a baby 3 months ago and I started work on Monday. I'm also the only one who cleans my house... though my husband has been helping a bit more now that I started work. My feet have been killing me and I've been debating on getting up before work to work out, or doing it after work. Then I think...when…
  • Lol. All 3 of those are terrible!
  • Because it's pumpkin, I'm going to have to try it.
  • < Emotional eater here, so I eat... 24/7. However, its mainly on my days off. When I'm working, its not so bad because I'm distracted. But I'm a major stress, boredom, and depressed eater.
  • I'm kinda in the same rut, except, I don't exercise much. I'm trying to. In fact, I did Zuzka Cardio workout 1 on Wednesday night with my man and ended up getting super sick on Thursday, and have been sick on and off with a migraine since. Today has been the first day since I've felt pretty good, so I'm planning on doing…
  • I have been with Verizon for about 2 and a half years now. I have not had a single problem at all through them. I have gone through US Cellular, T-Mobile, and Sprint, which have all had, at least from personal experience, pretty ****ed up customer service. US Cellular - I have found to be a hit and miss when it comes to…
  • ^Hate this. But that's a good idea!
  • ^This is the exact reason I avoid wearing long skirts in any situation where I think I might be bending down a lot. I would LOVE to wear my long black skirt to work, but as I bend down so much, and move around, I'll pass. I've had this almost happen before, it's not fun at all!!
  • From what I've read on the message boards and what not, there are several mixed views. Cardio is for your heart health, while also burns calories, while strength training is for your muscles, to either help build them, or keep them. Having more muscle will make it so you burn more calories as well. Also agree with Sarge,…
  • If your genuinely hungry then your body is trying to tell you that you are not getting the nutrition that you need. It means that you are eating too little food to fuel your body. As you are taller than I am and weigh more, I would assume your eating below your BMR at 1270 which generally is unhealthy. In my opinion and…
  • One that quickly comes to mind: Tiny Furniture.
  • ^correct.
  • One thing that will help your depression is exercise. I know. I'm depressed quite a bit. ESPECIALLY when I don't get my exercise in. I love the feel afterwards of getting a work-out in, and it helps improve my mood for the rest of the day. I havn't had a job for over a year now as I quit Walmart in April 2012. I'm looking…
  • I have lost all my weight without a gym, or gym machines for the most part. I do have a treadmill because I can't be in the heat during summer as they trigger migraines, but when it's not hot out I take a walk to the park or go hiking a lot. Other things that I do that don't include machines: Jillian Michaels video's such…
  • Giving up? - Giving up is easy. But are you seriously going to be happy if you just give up? I'm pretty sure the answer to that question is no. In the last thread you posted, you actually got a great list of options to choose from. What's the point? - The general idea is to be healthy. Also, any form of exercise will help…
  • ^ this. I can not see a single benefit to staying fat. I've gotten to where I'm happy to be at,and I feel SO much better, physically and mentally. I can accomplish way more things than I used to be able to, and I'm way more confident in myself. Plenty of other benefits of losing the weight, I could go on and on. But I have…
  • I actually get told that I'll be skin and bones if I lose any more weight by a lot of people. It's quite ridiculous because I could easily lose another 10-15 lbs and still have a bit of fat on me. I think it's because the mindset of people now is that being overweight is normal, while actually being fit and thin is not. I…
  • Working out on an empty stomach depends on the person. Sounds like you might be better off trying to eat something before hand. I personally cannot eat anything before a work out or I get really nauseous, so I always wake up, do my work-out, then eat afterwards. Try eating something before going out in the morning. :)
  • Yep. Shin Splints. I get them whenever I jump around a lot, my legs don't like: Jump rope, high knees, or butt-kicks! Let it rest, put a heating pad on it, it helps me when I end up with them. Luckily though I think mine are getting used to them because I don't get them as often as I used to. Also, rest. Your not going to…
  • I use FitnessBlender work-out videos. I have done Jillian Michaels, but I'm happier doing the fitnessblender videos because I find that they are more challenging than Jillians. I also do Zumba through Youtube, and my Xbox360 along with biggest loser as well on the xbox. Yoga is another favorite of mine.
  • d ^ This. Finding something you love to do can help in so many ways. One thing that motivates me is that I love the feeling after I work out. I also feel lazy and unaccomplished if I don't work out. On my rest days I do some light stretching yoga so I don't overdo things.
  • ^ this. and Ross. If you have a Ross near you, you can check them out. I've gotten a couple shirts there for $3 each.
  • I don't think it's the solution. The first brand I tried didn't irritate my eyes like they are. I was never grumpy with them, or irritated at all. I just had problems focusing on anything and it gave me a migraine. I never wanted to rub my eyes or take them out with the other ones. But with these ones I wore almost all day…
  • I don't have the money for Lasik, so it's not really an option for me at all. :(
  • Thanks for the replies! I did have a different brand before, and they felt fine in my eyes other than I had problems with vision.
  • They are supposed to call me in a couple of days. I was just wondering if it was normal. The first contacts I tried didn't bother my eyes at all, other than I couldn't focus on anything. These ones the vision is much better, but they are irritating my eyes.
  • Thanks for the reply, but I'm not getting lasik. I'm asking about contact lenses.
