  • I am 5'2.5" SW: 233 Jeans size- really tight 16 Shirts- xl CW: 168 Jeans size- 10 Shirts- M Dress-8 GW: 140 Goal Jeans size- 6? Goal Shirts-I don't care I just hope my boobs don't shrink anymore :)
  • I have lost about 65 lbs and that has taken me a year. In the first 6 months I lost about 40. Since the start of the summer my weight loss has really tapered off--partly because as I have less to lose it takes longer, and partly because I let my social life get in the way of my progress. I used to lose about 8 lbs a month…
  • You probably cannot get what you want for $30. A HRM I would suggest would be a Polar (probably FT4 for you?) which runs about $100 but can be found for $60ish on amazon or ebay. It will do everything you want it to for exercise. If you really want something that will tell you your daily expenditure you probably do not…
  • We are pretty close, especially when I am wearing heels ;) Age: 25 SW: 233 CW: 179.6 GW:130-140 Height: 5'2"
  • I have a Polar FT4 and I love it. I use it for getting calorie burn counts for cardio and trust those numbers far more than the MFP estimates.
  • In theory, the HRM should be more accurate. MFP is an estimate for the average joe and doesn't take into account your age, weight, gender, or effort level. But if you're concerned about such a large difference, don't eat back all of your exercise calories.
  • MFP has a tendency to double numbers for me. If you are running and doing ultimate frisbee and plan on eating back the calories, I would tell MFP you worked out for half as long as you did. 80 mins = log for 40. Or find an online calculator that asks sex, age, weight, and height and manually enter it. In a perfect world…
  • Breakfast would consist of a sugary cereal or eggs and hashbrowns or pancakes with peanut butter. Lunch would usually be an unhealthy sandwich or a can of chef boyardee or pizza rolls with sour cream. Dinner was almost always pasta, pizza, or ground beef based...and I almost always had seconds at dinner. Lots of pop and…
  • bump i work in a bakery...ugh!
  • "Your weight x503/154=calories burned in one hour on level one (so divide by three)" My HRM logs me at a MAX of 480 calories in one hour (working as hard as i can without passing out) and according to that calculation I would burn close to 650... OP you might not want to use this formula if you're concerned about…
  • I read in an interview with Jillian Michaels that she estimates people will burn about 4 calories a minute. According to my heart rate monitor, I burn 9-10 calories a minute depending on how intensely i do it.
  • I did not gain any weight when I started birth control...maybe I'm just lucky? I think it depends on your body and also the type of birth control (ie which hormones, how many days you take the pill (21 or 2), etc)
  • Same general issue here...I started out at 233 and lost 40 lbs in about 5 months. Now I'm sitting pretty at 185...have been for the past 5 weeks. Getting really frustrated but not giving up. I think mine has a lot to do with lack of sleep and working 18 hour days making it hard to get to the gym and eat real food...lots of…
  • What size weights does everyone use? I have completed Level 1 Day 5 using 5 lb weights. I do have some difficulty with the side lunges with shoulder raise (i think thats what its called..haha) but everything else is fine and my arms are never sore the next day. I feel like my arms should be sore with a 5 lb weight...should…
  • Started out at 233 in a VERY tight 16...probably should have been in an 18. Now I am 185 and in a 12/14 depending on the pants. I am 5'2". My hips are also 12" larger than my waist which affects pant size a lot.
  • I started out at 233 and a FULL DD. Now I am at 185 and a VERY FULL C/small D. I still have 45 lbs to go...I don't even want to imagine what mine will look like when I'm done. I will be getting a lift FOR SURE, and possibly implants. WIth my body shape, anything smaller than a C will look odd. For now I'm just dealing with…
  • My little sister was getting rid of some clothes and she had a men's size small tshirt that I asked if I could keep because i like it and it would be awesome to be able to have it as an inspiration item. (currently in a tightish size medium at 185 lbs with goal of 130-140) my boyfriend's response: "if you get to the point…
  • Ditto. Will my shoes get stained??
  • Let me start by saying that I am not a runner. I started c25k a while back and I did what everyone else is saying...go slow and focus on your breathing. If you are going fast you are going to focus on not falling down and you will run out of breath. I "run" at 4.5 mph. Actually c25k doesnt say run, it says jog because…

  • ^^this I have always been a milk drinker and started drinking skim when I moved out of my parents house. My boyfriend drinks almond milk and I could never get through skim milk on my own without it goin bad so now I just drink almond milk with him. The only brand I like is almond breeze, but making the switch wasn't an…
  • LovesDrWho-25. You like Doctor Who so you're probably not too young, but you say lol so you're probably not too old. These reasons are nonsense. I just wanted to play and you made it quite difficult!
  • I am in my sister's wedding in August and I already bought my dress. It's a size 10.
  • First time posting pics...I hope i do it right!! Well nope it didnt work. Ah well..
  • I would do some googling to see if there is a specialty bra shop in your area. If not, try amazon. Here is one if you're willing to spend $50 http://www.amazon.com/Goddess-Plus-Wirefree-Sports-White/dp/B007974QJI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1365102487&sr=8-2&keywords=sports+bra+40h I have a friend who is a 38 E and she buys…
  • I like to add a little low sodium chicken broth and some fat free sour cream. SO GOOD
  • skinny hazelnut latte! yum!
  • So glad I found this!! I alway make a whole box of spaghetti noodles when I make it and its not exactly easy to measure! I am definitely not going to cook mine separately because doing the dishes sucks! It's hard to just divide the portions when I don't measure how much other people eat...I can't just fraction it out…
  • I don't find it any fishier than frozen or fresh salmon. I make a patty out of it. Egg whites and seasonings and a couple saltines or some bread crumbs to bind it all together. I cook it on the george forman and top it with ketchup (yes, ketchup haha). My mom used to make them when I was younger but of course hers were…
  • 2 days before Christmas I had my first gall bladder attack. I had another one month later and then found out that I have multiple gall stones. Gall stones are made of cholesterol and they cause you an issue when they block the duct that bile travels through from the gall bladder to the liver. Bile is sent from the gall…
  • I do the treadmill version because of snow where I live. It is located here: http://www.c25k.com/c25k_treadmill.html The minute breakdown is the same outside or on a track too. There's a great free app on iphone (and probably droid) that times everything for you and tells you when to walk and run (which i jog). I will be…
