  • Definitely get to your area diabetes center or diabetes educators. Bring records written down with pre/post meals and food records with carb counts. You'll get the most for your money that way.

  • Straywolf you don't really mention if you're on insulin? A very low carb diet on insulin will make you at a high risk for low blood sugars. Are your fasting blood sugars high in the morning before food? Your liver makes its own sugar and if your pancreas can't handle that amount of sugar then your meds need to be adjusted.
