yes, but it's in the range of 250-300 g for a normal size person, so for the purposes of most people's diets, no.

I make mistakes daily and get upset all the time. I don't tell random strangers on the internet about it and then get angry when I don't like their comments.

"ripped abs" are usually referred to a six-pack, so I'd probably have some beer

no one in the thread suggested religious beliefs are the cause of the associated obesity, so I'm not sure what the point of your post is, other than that you think it makes you sound smart.

the label on my Optimum Nutrition products specifies "heaping scoop". A level scoop will be less than the serving size

Ok instead of "unhealthy", I'll phrase it a different way: Freaking out over 200 calories is indicative of an eating disorder. Better?

She planned to eat about 400 calories and ate about 600. I called it "overeating by 200 Calories". What exactly is incorrect about my statement? Do yourself a favor and actually read things before replying to them.

This is not a healthy reaction to overeating by 200 Calories.

have you been diagnosed as diabetic or have other disorder that requires you to limit sugar? if not, don't worry about it.

No, it's not necessary to eat directly after a workout. Google "protein window myth"

This may be true where you live, but in many parts of the US it is required by local or state laws. And most chains require their locations have it available on request as a matter of policy. I would contact Red Robin and let them know, it is likely their policy that they have it available in the restaurants if they post…

MFP recommendations are based on US government recommendations made in the 80's with poor science. Most TDEE sites use research from the last couple of decades that favors higher protein intake.

You are simply wrong. Stop spreading false information. It only hurts people.

are you measuring and weighing everything you eat? guestimating can be the difference between 1500 and 2000 calories easily.

not eating cake every time it's offered is something healthy people do not eating cake on your birthday is something people with eating disorders do

Are you measuring and weighing (and logging) all your food? It's literally impossible for someone your size to eat 1,000 calories a day for three weeks and not lose weight. You should go to a doctor if your log is accurate. Edit: And while I agree that 1,000 cal is undereating there is no way on earth that you are in…

My point is that doctors have close to 0 nutrition training.

Several people in this thread (including the person you quoted) are able to not drink without being sanctimonious. Maybe you could learn from their examples.

If your loss is stalled, eat less. It's that simple.

are you aware of how much nutrition training is included in medical training?

ITT people looking to lose weight are told to eat calorie dense foods, and others are praising their responses. What a joke this forum is.

Your scale measures to the 2/10 of a lb not to 2 oz. 100.8 lbs on your scale is not 100 lbs, 8 ounces, it's 100 lbs and 8/10 of a lb (12.80 oz) MFP is the same. It's recording a 2/10 lb loss (3.2 oz) not a 2 oz loss.

Why are you eating every two hours? Try eating more less often.
