Oatmeal n fruit. or Yogurt n fruit. An apple. Carbs are important before workout for energy. If you are Only doing Low intensity cardio, you may burn a bit more fat on an empty stomach. Protein within the hour after/during, for rebuilding muscle tissue. :bigsmile:

Sounds good no sauces / creamy dressing.. can you check the menu on a web site for nutrition? Put a little Olive Oil n vinegar on it if you want some dressing. Wild guess 800 cals.

sugarless gum, pumpkin seeds, bring a tea bag n get water not soda. Some theaters will actually let you bring in an empty "go cup" ask.... I drink iced, spiced green tea all the time. ;P

I'd say strength 3x, cardio 2x also but.... As you really can't lift anything much--- Stair climbers, Squats (body weight, or hold one dumbbell with good hand), Planks, Swimming, Cycling? HIIT cardio

In general machine will be more accurate than MFP. Elliptical are tuff not many calculators for them. I found one for a Precorp below. Swimmer, diver (although not lately) and avid MFP nut ;) I was a Lifeguard throughout college, best job I ever had! :wink: I'm trying to swim 4x a week at the gym. My 2 cents..... Eat back ~75% of them. I look at it this way, you exercise burn is an estimate. Most likely you over report what you burn. So I don't eat back 100%. I calculate the burn based on HR and cross ref with the machine, if I was using one. I've lost 46lbs in 5 months. I'm 25 lbs from a very lean goal weight. I…
