Nowhere near done but my profile picture is me sharing a little bit of arm progress. The top is from August and the bottom is last Friday. Just a note, my arms started off way bigger than they were in the August pic but of course we shredded all evidence of such. Now I kind of wish I didn't as I'd be able to see a true…

I completely understand your struggle I have the exact same body type. I recommend a low weigh high rep regiment, which also continues to focus on toning while also giving you a great cardio base. Also the bodypump classes or something similar are good for this!

You look absolutely amazing!!!!! Great job!!

Lol this sounds exactly like my Bf!! When I told him I needed to lose 40 more pounds he said absolutely not! I heard what he said and felt good that he cared and loves my body as is, however while he thinks 40 pounds will make me look like a stick, I'm well aware that this is not the case and that while my thighs will slim…

Female 5'7" - 27 years old. I'm really not sure of my heaviest because I refused to step on a scale for a while but I started MFP at 256. I haven't done a weigh in since April because I started focusing on weights as opposed to cardio but my last weigh in was at 209.8. My lowest weight was 160 in undergrad. My goal weight…

For me it took about 25- 30 pounds before I had officially dropped a size. Those first few pounds were in the waist and belly area so while my waist got smaller my stubborn thighs were determined to hold onto that fat!!

You definitely need to eat 1200 cal. You're body is likely in starvation mode and holding on to everything that you have. Start eating smaller meals more frequently, that should help.

Before I really got in control of my eating and would have something that was really tempting in front of me I would pretty much sabotage the food. ie I pour water or soda all over the food, or maybe ketchup or anything that i knew would essentially ruin the temptation. Good luck on your journey. I work in a large office…

50 in 4 months is a lot of weight and in my humble opinion (humble cuz really what the hell do I know) may be a little out of reach, unless you plan on doing a drastic diet and exercise change. I would say 30-35 pounds is definitely attainable with a decent workout regiment and a healthy diet. Good luck! Stay dedicated and…

In college I had a really b*tchy roommate who just happened to be confined to a wheelchair. All my friends thought that I was just really mean to her and that I was especially evil and going to hell because she was handicapped but really she was a total b*tch, who just acted totally different around guests. Anyway, one…

1. Name - AllisonPlease 2. how much weight you have lost so far- 35+ 3. How much you still want to lose, or are you maintaining?- another 40ish 4. Best single piece of advice you would give people just starting out. This is not a diet its a change in lifestyle so GIVE IT TIME. I once found a post that said it takes 4 weeks…

I think that this is what I'm going to start doing as well. I tried the music only setting and hated it! I finished Level 2 Day 2 this morning and I must say I felt much better than I did yesterday (level 2 day 1). Yesterday morning I truly wanted to shut the tv off and punch someone in the face. My abs were literally on…

You will definitely feel it by just doing the 30 DS but I guess its all up to the individual. During phase 1 I did the shred M-F, cardio on Saturday and rest on Sunday. During Phase, which to me focuses a lot on toning, I plan to add in at least 3 cardio days in order to lose lbs along with my inches.

There are a ton of 30 day shred threads tat discuss results w/ photos. I'm on Level 2 day one and I definitely feel the difference haven't taken progress pics yet.. waiting till day 15. Below is a link to another post w/ pics. Good luck, add me if you need a friend for some motivation :)…

I pretty much stand by this statement!! I have severely limited the amount of junk food that I intake and have had a huge up in fruits and veggies HOWEVER I'd be a fool to deny pretend as though I'm never going to have sweets or want to indulge now and then and I refuse to be judged for it. Remember, these are not diets…
