All your pictures are beautiful! How people treat each other can say alot abut their character. Stay strong!

Very good! Obvious progress!

Great job! Very proud of you. You look so nice in the pretty pink top in the last picture!

Whenever i exercise and work up a sweat, I'm initially hot and sweaty. Then, after i dry off, i get the chills easily.

Remember, it is a life-style change. Even when you hit your goal, it's not over--but maybe relaxed a little! I've done this since the end of September and only lost 17-18 LBS, but that is better than nothing! Keep your head up and be proud of yourself for what you've accomplished!

Exactly!

As long as you eat your own floss debris it's OK. If you eat someone else's, you need to add it to your diary!

Katalyst77 is absolutely right!

You look very cute int the outfit. Don't let what other people think get in the way of comfort!

Thank you for sharing! It's even harder to do this while raising 5 children. From the picture it looks like one of the kids has special needs? If you can find time for yourself, I think it energizes you for the mothering part.

Congrats on your healthy advancement----but I do think you are very beautiful in the first pic(second also)!
-
Niiiiice! You've done well!

Any improvement in diet or exercise is better than none. I started with diet first and logging. Now I'm adding the exercise. I can tell you're smarter than me, because you are thinking about your health much younger! I will say a prayer for your success!

WOW to all the over 50 "losers! I am 54 and have been on MFP since end of Sept 2012. Am losing slowly, but that is OK, so it is easier to stick with it. This is the lowest I,ve weighed in 10 years. I now need to kick it into gear with additional exercise. I love to read your success stories--they keep me going!

It makes tracking food easy ,it's informative, inspiring, AND IT'S FREE( sorry, but I thought that deserved repeating)!
-
Great job! Looks like your hard work has paid off!

Thank you for this, OP! You might think this would scare people away from weight loss, but it actually encourages me to know that we all will probably go through a similar process, and can still be successful! I just bought some new clothes and have gone down a size for the first time---my first NSV!

I just started going to a gym. I have been using the calorie numbers on the fitness machines, but I guess that only works for the cardio machines.

Glad to see that there is a whole thread for 50+. Been on MFP for about 3 months. Have lost 10# with just diet alone. Pretty good for not being very motivated. My goal is to start an exercise program this year. I don't post much, but like to read others' posts for motivation.

That is verbal abuse! He has already broken wedding vows to honor and respect you. Call him out on this terrible behavior!

I can't believe that people have enough nerve to say these things! Obviously their parents didn't teach them to love one another!

I don't count any other drinks in my water counter, but I also dont stress about getting in the 8 glasses a day. All the other liquids you drink have water in them. I put these in with my food log. Yes, some are diuretics--so be careful of how many of these you drink. I say do what you think is best. The MFP police wont be…

1) Although i haven't lost much weight yet, I can tell my clothes are looser. 2)i had to move it in a notch when I hook my bras. 3) Dr took me off my cholesteral medicine. :)

Congrats on the new grandbaby and your combined weight loss! Nice pictures, all of them!

I agre with th OP. There are alot of nice people here, AND some bullies. The only person I can control is myself--so I have to start there!
-
Your hour -glass shape is coming in to play and your shoulders and arms are much more defined. Good job!

What does HRM stand for? Heart rate monitor?

Do you put syrup on them, or eat them as is?

You ROCK!!! You rock for the weight loss, but even more than that, for the 17 years of giving of yourself. I love reading about people's NSVs. It's a different way of thinking, rather than focusing on the scale. Sooo inspiring!
