Yes!! It's fabulous! Siggi's is Icelandic yogurt, otherwise known as "skyr". It is thicker and less sweet than traditional American and even Greek yogurt.

No. The word itsself does nothing. You could put any word in the box and it would have the same effect. People just use that word to mean they have nothing specific to add to the topic, they just want to save it under their topics or move the thread up the recent posts list.

Bump.... I am a relatively new triathlete. I have done 5 or 6 over the past year; mostly sprint distance with a couple of olympic distances. Swimming is my weakest leg because I never swam in my life until I started training for triathlon. I have been focusing on my running recently as I am running my first full marathon…

"Quite a few" are made with added gelatin and whey protein? Which ones? Most of the ones I have checked in my local stores are not. Chobani, Fage, Dannon Oikos, Stonyfield, Great Value, Trader Joes, Brown Cow, Athenos, Wallaby... The ONLY brand I have found that contains added gelatin and whey protein is Yoplait.

And, why is the protein in Greek yogurt not "real"? Do you know how Greek yogurt is made and why it's higher protein? It doesn't have added protein, it's just strained to concentrate the protein and lower the sugar content. How is that not "real protein"??

My suggestion would be to look for a local triathlon club or training group/program in your area that you could join. The triathlon community is very beginner friendly; they are generally very willing to work with beginners and help them along.

I use the Landolakes Olive Oil butter. It's really good. Or, I take a stick of butter and 1/2c olive oil and blend them in a food processor then pour into a plastic container. Stays spreadable in the fridge and tastes great.
