  • I'm in!!! I love me some Coke, not diet Coke but regular Coke!:embarassed: I drankmy last one this morning, since it was the last 20oz bottle I had at the house. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this....
  • Well I did stick to my goal in July of drinking twice a week. Now that we are in a new month, for August I don't want to drink at all. Let's see how I do with that.
  • I know I said I wasn't going to drink at all before, but I did give in this week. However, I am restarting my goal of not drinking at all. LOL
  • This week's goal is to get on my treadmill 4 times this week and continue on with my C25K program, stay within calories, & continue on this journey. I can do this!

  • Didn't drink last night. I did my week 1 of couch to 5k this morning. I still have a brand spanking new bottle of vodka sitting in the freezer, it has been there all week. Oh the temptation!!!
  • Haven't had a drink since Monday (Yay!). Today's goal is to motivate myself and be the person I can to myself by eating right & exercising so that I can get to a healthier BMI/weight.
  • No alcohol yesterday (yay!) and I also got on the treadmill yesterday too (yay!). Tonight's mini goal is the same as yesterday - no alcohol and treadmill for 45 minutes....

So no alcohol until Saturday, hubby and I are meeting up with another couple to celebrate a birthday. Today's mini-goal is to not drink at all and hop on the treadmill for 45 minutes.

  • LMAO!!! I used to think so clearly when I was smoking!! My husband doesn't smoke which is why I took on drinking, which he does do. When I was smoking I was with someone who smoked. But yes, drinking is the devil!!! LOL Monica
  • Mojo, I think you are on to something here! I used to smoke pot everyday and never gained. I was a size 8/9 and smoked pot everyday....I went from smoking to drinking and packed on 45 pounds in 2 years!!! OMG!!!:frown:

  • I LOVE cassava!! Where did you find it pre-mashed? I always cook it fresh. I peel it & boil it. When it is soft I then drain it, coat it with olive oil (not a lot depending on how much you cook), a splash of vinegar, a small sliced onion, salt/pepper to taste, 2 cloves of fresh garlic (chopped or mashed).
