  • I love my electric smoker. I actually bought a meat grinder at Cabela's and grind my own ground chuck that way I can control the amount of fat in it. I haven't tried using turkey bacon yet in the smoker but will as I'm curious if it will assist in reducing even a few more calories in my fatty and jalapeno poppers.

  • I agree with swimming...We scuba dive while cruising so our breakfast is small along with fruit for lunch between dives...Then a great dinner and adult beverages...while full days at sea we utilized the gym...We actually lost weight that trip! I also indulged in a lot of Vanilla Bean Souffle!!!

  • I've found Splenda, artificial sweetener in a box has zero calories and are equal parts to substitute for sugar. Although I don't use these types of sweeteners often....they work for the occasional sweet tooth needs which reduces calories from sugar.....Taste same as sugar to me....however, I don't eat many sweets.
