No direct rear delt,medial delt and calf work. Lagging pecs from flat bench only, which most people use more shoulders/triceps for. Traps don't grow well for everyone from deadlifting only. Neglect your rear delts/traps for long enough and your posture will suffer bigtime. Anyone who isn't a /fit parrot and actually knows…

Start with an upper/lower, Starting Strenth was terrible in my opinion. So many imbalances/lagging muscles.

I completely agree with this. I was talking about having adequate protein in there, because without that theres no way in hell your building muscle. But yeah, adequate protein, carbs become extremely important for building muscle.

Carbs are the most important macronutrient for building muscle. Serious. Lots of carbs and protein = getting swole.

This article is absolutely terrible. He states that the problem is "rapidly digesting carbohydrates" but the funny part is that this usually does not occur in practice. When people eat fiber, protein and/or fat alongside the carbs the GI index goes out the window. This is why foods such as fruit is still slow digesting…

Everything in moderation. Eating good, "clean" food is important but having a treat or two a day doesn hurt at all, just fit it within your daily calorie limit.
