get a polar and it works with most cardio machines.. to the best of my knowledge and experience the garmins only work with garmins.

If I run in the morning, then I don't eat before a run unless it is longer than 15 miles and then I will eat a little oatmeal or a banana.

There are lots of body weight and resistance band exercises you can do. You can even find some pretty good home routines on youtube.

Sorry to hear that I can sympathize. I have been the same weight for a month. I watch my calories and I exercise 5-6 days a week. Can't figure it out... waiting to hear your responses.
