It's a psychological illusion. Just like how retail businesses always prices things at $19.99 or $19.95, so that it seems "so much" of a better deal than $20. McDonald's does it themselves... McDeal Meal for only $4.99!!! Suddenly I feel like some chicken mcnuggets.

I think Bruce Lee would have been competitive in sanctioned MMA about 10 years ago. Since then, fighters have become a lot more well rounded, and I don't know how versed Bruce was in grappling or if it went to the ground. Maybe he'd do better in Glory/K-1 (kick-boxing), but even then, I see the muay thai guys being more…

Thanks! Or (to the OP), you could just roll a joint of "cat nip" and your kitty could be in it's "happy place." Vets can prescribe anti-anxiety medications for pets... smooth out it's mood and make it more tolerant of stressors.

Getting a cat "declawed" isn't just having it's nails/claws removed. The vet amputates the entire first phlange/digit. Declawed cats simply learn to "bite" instead of scratching. So your little one will be bitten instead (and cat saliva is full of bacteria). Do you want your child getting a serious infection? BOTTOM LINE:…

I think Dana is trying to set up a fight between Silva and Jon Jones. I'm not a fan of "Bones", and it would make me grin to see Silva front kick Jon's teeth into the 5th row, but I think Silva will lose this fight (if it happens).

Male, 37, 5'11" Heaviest: 229 lbs (2011) Lightest: 168 lbs (2005) Current: 218 lbs Goal: 180 lbs The scale reading is just a number and doesn't take body composition into account. I look better today at 218 lbs then I did ten years ago at 218 lbs due to weight lifting.

How about when somebody wants to work in with you on a machine... changes the weight, but then doesn't have the decency to change it back when it's your turn. Not a biggie... but at least have some courtesy.

People who try to lift weights that are obviously too heavy for them and proceed to do them with incorrect form. The other day, this guy put a 45 lb plate on either side of a bench press bar and commenced to do bicep curls. Sure, curling 135 lbs is pretty damn impressive, but this guy was bending at the waist and using his…
