  • Done! Before midnight and thermometer registering 25.8 Phew! Now for a shower!
  • A day late, but done! Tried 3lb weights tonight then found when i began the fly move one shoulder really ouched! And still does now. Whoops, back to 2lbs for a day or two. Can't believe 1lb makes that much difference, oh well.
  • Day 6 done - although I'm feeling a bit of a fraud as I'm still doing the modified push ups and only using 1 kg weights. At least I'm not taking breaks anymore and don't feel completely wrecked after. Tomorrow 3 lb weights!
  • Yep we are alone! In fact I just found this on Team A loft !! August 26, 2013 10:14 pm New challenges! 1. Exercise at least 4 of 7 days this week = 1 lbs advantage 2. Try something new this week = 1 lbs advantage 3. Complete at least 200 hip lifts this week = 1 lbs advantage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARsmFY4e4Xs 4.…
  • Played catch-up today! Not too bad, and as I muted Jillian and listened to 10cc I was doing double the number of some moves!
  • Ok! Hangs head in shame, fallen behind already. So it's morning and I've done my shred and i will do another tonight to catch up to day 4 then I shall do day 5 on Saturday.
  • Interesting! Once tried Aldi Pear cider (Harvest I think) and thought it tasted like Kopperberg. And yes, I know I shouldn't be drinking the calorific stuff, anyway scanned it dutifully to log it, and it read Kopperberg - at a fraction of the price!
  • Seems we are alone on this forum? .?? Anyone else here from the B team?? Was lazy yesterday and feeling guilty this morning. - which is probably good because I'm going to catch up now...... Housework calories to be burned and 30ds followed by ironing and clearing whilst watching Les Mis DVD, which I got as soon as it was…
  • 5ft 8 here and I wish I was 155lbs!! Started at 204lbs at the beginning of this year and lost a lot at the start but now losing at a snails pace c.w. 163lbs. Would like initially to get down to 150.
  • Done and tomorrow I WILL get it done earlier in the day rather than just before midnight!! And yes, mute button will be used and my choice of music played, sorry Jillian !!
  • Hiya Only 3 B team members weighed in so far. Come on people it's only one more week!! I'm still exercising, actually enjoying walking now that I have 3 stone less to carry about! Back on track this week after a gain last week, and hope to lose a bit more to get firmly in the normal weight range. Still need to get that…
  • Day 1 done. Not pretty with the belly moving independently during the jumping jacks! Sticking with 1kg weights for the side lunges but might increase for the flys. Also not helped by the dog trying to it on me during crunches!!
  • Hiya, That was me fat, frumpy and 53! Started my journey here seriously in January and have received so much support and motivation on this site. Managed to lose 3 stone years ago with weight watchers but put it all back on and now I've lost it again. Still need to lose some but the knees are now better and walking so much…
  • Hiya, I'm Pam from the U.K. and I'm pleased to be here! Have been playing on and off with level 1 but not got the motivation to move onto Level 2. Hopefully being accountable will make me stick with it to the end and achieve toning up and losing inches, that others have reported. Ready to start seriously ... Good luck…
  • Hiya Maalea and B team, Only two weeks to go as you have noted, and looking at the spreadsheet there appears to be only 9 people still posting their weights. Main exercise this week seems to be walking but have already done 30DS twice and will do it twice more this weekend, which should help towards the squats! Will be…
  • Thanks for the new challenges - looks like a had better get on with the 30ds and that will count towards the crunches and push ups! Have problems getting that water down so I'm off to fill my litre bottle now....... Good luck everybody, I need to be a bit stricter this week cos the scale didn't move.
  • It's me again! Nice walk this morning and a couple of planks! But that is about it! Not sure whether the whole challenge is losing momentum with so few posts here, or everyone is on holiday and certainly won't want to be concerned with their weight. I am still logging and finding that I at least check the food labels and…
  • Finally got to watch the episode. I lost 3 stone with weight watchers years ago. I had stopped going when the novelty of being at goal wore off, and, you've guessed it, i put it all back on. It was my fault and mine alone and as one of the 84% who failed I could well have been a repeat customer. As a business model its…
  • Sorry, it's me again! I hope I haven't offended anyone? Feeling a little lonely here on the team forum. Anyhow not much to report..... 3 mile walk today, fresh air by the water and appreciating slightly cooler weather. Tomorrow more home based exercise and a day catching up on housework (yawn)
  • You sound like me at the beginning of the year. This app is great for support and accountability. If I can do it, then so can you! Feel free to add. Good luck
  • Hello team! How is everybody doing this week? I'm on target for completing this weeks challenges except the Burpees ! Had X-ray to see if I have a stress fracture in my foot. Hopefully then I can get some treatment and resume doing some more cardio. Meanwhile I'm continuing to walk the dog and attempting most of the 30ds…
  • Hi team, Progress post = getting there! 3 days exercise, 4.5 miles walked, 3 minutes of plank - not elegant or without shaking but done! 2nd post. Will do 30ds L1 again tonight as finally getting the hang of it and not taking breaks!!
  • Wow! 40 degrees sounds very uncomfortable and not at all helpful to exercise in! Air conditioned office does seem an attractive alternative. I am glad to have a repeat of the challenges- I need to try harder with some, although the Burpees are not going to happen as the foot is still not right and liable to further damage.…
  • Still missing weigh in and challenge data from a few peeps! Come on team - we can do this!!! A bit behind on this weeks challenges myself so off to attempt a proper plank - wish me luck....
  • I like your style. Fuel up and go, go, go!
  • So, it's far too early in the morning and I'm wide awake with stomach churning following a large curry with friends last night! I haven't eaten that big a meal -and enjoyed it - for a long time, but I now regret it! My guests were vegetarians so it was quorn based but with the coconut milk, not a low calorie version and…
  • Totally agree with neandermagnon above! Just a couple of days ago I threw out all the diet books, diet magazines and special free booklets that come with the weekend papers promising bikini bodies or loss of 7lbs in 7 days. I had collected them over the years, read them and decided that the diet would follow and I would be…
  • Ok just looked at this weeks challenge with more serious intentions!! Challenges 1 and 3 should be no problem as getting in the evening walks and living on salads during this heat wave. Challenge 4 could prove difficult for the same reason - the heat! Have been getting to sleep later when it cools a bit and waking at 6.…
  • You are not alone! Been a busy week and with the unusually hot weather my exercise has been reduced to walking the dog early in the morning or late evening. Bad foot has hindered squats and push ups but I should be doing the crunches - naughty me! How's everybody else doing?
