Back in 2004-2005 I lost approximately 120 lbs. I got pregnant and gained almost all of it. I tried to lose it again, and lost 80 lbs- gained a lot of it back. Both times I did low carb, and was a complete gym addict. The moment I could not get to the gym, the wheels fell off for me. I have now lost 95 lbs- am back to…

So wierd- because my searches are for Quest Bars, excercise clothes and books to read things like that. My ads are shoes, Delta and Cinnabon- none of which are related.

I use to love eatting out. I could find healthy choices- and it was fun. The thing is that I am one of those people that weigh myself daily. Eatting at Olive Garden not only makes my rings tight- but the scale goes up at least 5lbs, or more- and takes me a whole week to get the sodium out of my system. I have yet to find…

That is awesome! I totally agree with so much of what you said!

Thank you all so much. I am a complete introvert, and it took me a little bit to start to add friends, but have found that it is the people that I have met on this site have really helped me along the way. There is so much that I can learn from others who are on their own journey. Thanks again!

Feel free to add me. My one year MFP anniversary is this week. I log daily, and have an open diary.

Feel free to add me. This week is my one year MFP anniversary. I log daily, and have an open diary. I entered Onederland last week (also seen it as Underland) but either way am no longer 200lbs! My highest weight was 330, a long time ago, started MFP at 294.

Feel free to add me. My MFP one year anniversary is coming up this Thursday. I am on daily and have an open diary.

What I have found helpful is to have friends with open diaries. I have seen what works for other people, and have experiemented for myself. I have learned a lot by looking at what other people do.

Feel free to add me. Took me 5 1/2 years before I started to focus on getting rid of the weight that I gained when I was pregnant.

I have lost about 90 lbs since 9/2012. I have gone from a size 24W to a 12. My bra has gone from a 38D to a 36D (would suggest getting formally fitted. I had thought that I had gone down to a 38B- but was completely wrong). I have been able to get through by using consignment shops, Savers (similar to good will) and EBay.…

Awesome! You look great (and I am sure feel fabulous!)

I found that there is a really big difference between going from an 18 to 16- it is like going 18W to 18 to 16W to 16. Took me a long time to get from an 18 to 16, and then found it is about 15 pounds per size. I have gone from a size 22 US to size 12- which are baggie.

My scale didn't move for a while. I went down a full pant size, and not a pound on the scale. It was frustrating but I kept at it....and Whoosh. The weight melted off. If you are eatting less than your body burns, there will be a change in the scale.

1. Need to get new clothes last weekend- none of what I had fit. Am now a size 12! My size XL shirts are starting to get big. 2. Last night I was starving, and dinner was not ready yet. My 5 year old and I decided to eat salad as a snack!

Mine is open. Feel free to add me.

I have the ultra and love it. Clips to my bra, and is so small no one knows I have it on.

I love my fitbit. Like others have said- it has changed my life. I have lost over 50 lbs since I got it for Christmas, and am moving now more than I have EVER in my life. Am learning that being fit is not limited to gym time.
