I check everyday. It keeps me on track and motivated. If I'm doing what I should I almost always lose "something" everyday, and if not that's my kick in the *kitten* to step it up in a work out or cut back on something (most likely carbs)!!! I love the scale and find it to be my ultimate motivator!!

Where about are you located? Do you have "running rooms" near you. They are wonderful about helping you choose a great shoe for your feet and your running style. They suggest asics for me and they've been wonderful. I did a half marathon this summer in them :-) I don't necessarily have high arcs though, so I really suggest…

Kaffro you're an inspiration.... !! I think all you're accomplishing is truly amazing! I went on a bit of a hiatus and need to come back :-) I need to muster up your kind of commitment and motivation!!

I'm totally sure that counts for something! I got my HRM at MEC and it's made by timex and has a chest strap and a wrist watch. When I'm super into it, I burn around 340 -240 and I'm 5/4 160 pounds and 30 yrs :-) I've heard that other people only log their "exercise" and that anything else like bed bouncing is just bonus.…

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to go on a mini hiatus (sp???) I made it to level 2 and did on day of it on Wed. it's now Friday!!! I want to blame it on all kinds of things...but really, I need to just step it up. I will always have chaos in my life and things to do, places to be.... it doesn't mean I can stop shredding…

Hey all, finished my day 8 (I took 2 days off). But I haven't given up. I do have to say that I'm disappointed that I haven't lost ANY weight at all this week despite doing the shred?? Any suggestions?? You are all doing amazing!!!

This is too funny! I just went there last night for my sister's b-day and had endless shrimp. I had a garden salad with dressing on the side, stuck to the grilled shrimp and had a side of baked potato and veg. and also only one bun. Can you believe there is 150 cal.s per bun :-O .... enjoy!

I missed my day 7 :-( I really did try yesterday morning, but just didn't have the energy for it. Yesterday was my baby sister's 19th birthday, we took her out for dinner and the family came back to my house for dessert and left around 10.... it was just one of those days where I didn't have any free time except time you…

Good for you! I felt the same way this morning and I actually gave up in the middle of squats. I'm going to do it tonight though... can't skip :-)

Yeah for us :-) I just completed day 6! I am tempted to go to level 2, just to get a bit of variety :-) But the pushups are still so hard for me that I know it's best to stick with level 1 for the 10 days. This is the first time I've actually been able to stay with this for more than a couple of days. It's making a big…

Yeah! Day 5 is done :-)

Day 4 complete! ... exercising right as you get out of bed is tough... :-) Everything is great, except those darn push ups and the arm raises doing that lateral squat... I think it's clear to see that my arms are weak! Hope everyone else is doing well!

Yeah! Day 3 finished for me :-) I put my heart rate monitor on and forgot to start my watch :-S, so I still don't know how many calories I'm burning exactly! I'll try again tomorrow morning before work and actually try to remember! We are "well on our way to being shredded" lol

I just realized I didn't weight in for day 1 or post my current measurements. So here goes. Weight is 160. Chest - 38 " Waist - 33" Hips - 42"

I've already done the Shred today, but I'll wear my HRM tomorrow and let you know how many calories I burned :-) I know it will be different for everyone (height, weight/ current physical condition). So to give you an idea, I'm a 30 , 5'4 and currently weigh160. I spent the summer training for a 1/2 marathon, but sprained…

I'm in too! I plan to do this in addition to going to the gym! Looking forward to it! I hope to lose 20 pounds by Jan. 1st. I find I'm so much more successful when I have a goal like this. Good luck everyone! My current weight is 160 pounds. B - 38 W-33 H-42 Rissa

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a great day. I'm up to 6 glasses of water so far, only 2 more to go tonight. It was / has so far been a great day- I'm within my calories and not hungry :-)

Hi ladies, I'm so glad to find some people out there that have around the same weight to lose as me. I accidentally posted this topic twice when I went back to try and fix the "pouns/pounds" spelling mistake in the topic. If you post into the thread that has pouns spelled correctly that is the thread I'm going to continue…

This is great :-) I'm so glad I decided to post. I'm excited to motivate eachother. I'm going to weigh in on Mondays and I guess start a new thread on Mondays too. I think we should have a goal this week to make sure we are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. Let's post daily with how we're doing. Have a great…
