I think that if this might be easily resolved by considering how much activity it causes you and adjusting your profile activity level. Remember when you signed on and you chose how active your lifestyle is? My job requires a fair bit of walking and standing but I don't add that into my exercises I just took it into…

Thank you for sharing your story. It has to be one of the most well written, honest and inspiring ones I've yet to read. You look amazing! Congrats on your life changes and success.

I really understand what you are saying. I'm having to do pretty much the same thing. Suddenly gaining a fair bit of weight is really hard to deal with emotionally. I'm so happy to say I've been using this website and I'm on my way to getting back to being the old me...but better!

I must say I also love love LOVE my crock pot. There are a million sites to find things to make in them. My cooker has high, low, warm and automatic as well as manual settings. I am actually thinking of picking up a smaller one to use to make sauces and such too. oh...there is nothing better than walking in to the smell of…

Try a different type of oatmeal..it might help. I can't stand the texture of those Quaker packets (mush!) but like Mccann's - Quick Cooking Irish Oatmeal. Try added less or more water to see what you prefer. My trick is to cook it up then add in frozen fruitm mix it up and I let it all stand on the hot burner. By the time…

It's hard getting started isn't it? What worked for me was finding something I liked and could do. Not all exercise has to be in a gym. If you have pain maybe ask a physio or your dr what would be good to do. I have to admit my physio set me up beautifully for success when I first started getting back to moving more often.…

Gosh I love my slow cooker! What I'm making in it right now is vegetarian chili *1 large onion, diced *2 stalks celery, diced *2 carrots, diced *2 cloves garlic, chopped *1 bell pepper, diced 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 teaspoons ground cumin (optional) 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 large can crushed tomatoes 2 cans…

Very smart way to work in what you love. I sort of do the same thing at times. A little usually satisfies my cravings for whatever it is I want if I'm offered something yummy. What threw me off when I first started tracking was the calories in drinks and bread. So I have found different ways to make sandwiches (lettuce…

Try adding the Greek yogurt to other things to ease into the different texture and taste. I love to use in place of anything sour cream; on tacos for example or to make pasta sauce a bit creamy I'll put a dollop on top.
