my cholesterol was high and, I officially weighed (half a pound) more than I did 9 months pregnant. :grumble:

my name is Stacy--which gets shortened to Stace a lot. My high school sweetheart turn 1st hubby used to call me "Space" or "spacecase" as a pet name / when he was being silly. I use this SN lots of places. 76 is the year I was born.

I am 5'5" and can be in a size 2 at 130 (see the pic in my ticker? that is my goal, lol) I am currently 140 and am in a 4 or 6, depending on the brand. As other posters pointed out, it depends on where you carry your weight.

I am 5'5", hovering between 140 - 141. I am plateaued currently (again), and just switched over to maintenance. I am sedentary (I do tech support on a computer / phone 40 hours a week). I exercise 5 days a week most weeks. My current goal is 1660 cals. I will likely drop to about 1500 in a few weeks. My ultimate goal is…

depends... before and during TOM = salty Right after TOM and most of the month = sweet. Like a previous poster, I don't feel guilty

My BF uses one, he is a big fan. I also agree with hats!

cut ties, move on. You are worth more than this jerk gives you credit for.

we are always the last to see our own results. 16 pounds in 2 months is a great start! Don't get discouraged, you CAN do this, you ARE WORTH this. Soon, family and friends will start seeing the difference, and your clothes will fit better! Just don't give up :flowerforyou:

Congrats on keeping it off! WTG!

I will be around 125-130 and maintaining by this time next year! Not far to go!! :drinker:

You need to GRADUALLY add more calories. Maybe add 200, and then another 100 in 2-3 weeks, etc until you are at that 1700. I wouldn't jump up 500 calories over-night, I think you would gain and not like the results.

woohoo! Good work! I have found that NSV are always a double-edged sword. YAY--smaller clothes--BOO for spending money. YAY for ring size shrinking--BOO for rings all getting too big. That kind of thing. :ohwell:

^^ this^^ Halloween really screwed with my sweet cravings, lol

it is the time of year. Historically, our bodies hoard food in the fall preparing for winter. We don't need to do that anymore, but, it is nature, that is what your body wants to do. I have been drinking LOTS of green tea lately, it seems to help with my sugar / carb cravings somewhat. I agree with others... try to find…

once in a while = no big deal. You just don't want it to be a regular thing. I had cake today and still ended up under 1200 by a smidge...

look up strength training under cardio as the previous poster suggested. The "weights" area is more to track how much you lift over time if you are working on increasing...not to log calories burned :-)

You can't control other's actions, you can only control your own reactions. (same thing) ---and VERY true.

People always show their true self, you just have to look for it. That isn't it word-for-word, but, it is true...if a guy has an anger problem when you are casual--how bad is it going to be in 5 years? Things typically get worse, not better. <--hard lesson learned.

this is my first winter of running. I usually walk on my lunch break, so I wear whatever I wore to work + tennis shoes. I am not happy about having to run in pants - I live in Louisiana, I should be able to wear shorts year-round, but I have heard that is not the case. My BF is a loyal Under Armor guy -- I am sure I will…

You would have to exercise SOOO much to stop your period (think GI Jane). Could be stress..maybe. I was late once or twice when I had big loss months, and I know lots of others were as well. But, no one missed completely. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

I got my shoes at a local store (Varsity Sports). I got my first pair somewhere else - bad experience, I won't go back. I need support, I pay about $100 a pair. My BF runs as well - he needs a neutral shoe - he pays about the same.

what kind of things are you eating? Steamed veggies are very low in calories. You could eat about 6 cups of green beans and equal the calories in one Twinkie. I would look at eating lower cal, more natural foods, as well as lean meats and nuts and fruits. I don't know what you are eating now, as your diary isn't public,…

sex, light snack, gym, shower, dinner, sex (again, unless I am falling over asleep). This is my every-other-Friday night....

speaking of family themes where someone is left out--my soon-to-be-ex-husband is Josh. His brothers are Jeremiah, Jacob, Jessie, and Doug...

AH, i just remembered another. A good friend I used to party with a lot--her name is (no joke) Holiday Joy --nickname Holi. She was born in February--not even around Christmas :noway:

I know someone named Peppy. My daughter's name is Kitana.

then--you are old alone--just like you lived your life...only older. There is nothing that says we all won't end up alone when we are old. Statistically speaking, men die before women anyway. The majority of this website can end up old and alone (because such a high percentage of us are women). If you are always single, no…

you are psyching yourself out! You need a nice mantra to help get you through it! If you *truly* think you can't do it, do the 2 x 8 again...ONCE, and do the 20 minute one next time. You can do this! You have been training for it. You just gotta get your head in the game (or out of it, since you are over-thinking it!)

I agree with all of the above! Lactic Acid build up from low potassium. Eat a banana or sweet potatoes or pick up a potassium supplement.
