Make sure you're getting a decent amount of sleep and drink plenty of water. It may be stress or anxiety related, try making room in your day to do something you enjoy or take time to relax. The best thing to do is wait until the doctor gives their advice, they'd be the best one to know. Failing everything, google some…

I'm no christian or catholic but I'd be happy to do the fast with you. If you want you can add me as a friend and message me the dates, if you don;t mind fasting with non-religious person

I'm more the look at thinspo type, and whenever I feel a lack of motivation I google pictures of Andy Biersack, Hayley Williams, Kate Moss (especially in her 'I beat obesity' shirt). If you don;t know some of these people, google them, I think they have amazing and motivational figures. Also, my mum always tells me how…

I've noticed that for certain foods, the cheaper the option you go for, the better it is for you. The more expensive options are usually packed full of added sugar/salt/flavourings/etc. but the less expensive generally aren't. Also, i'm a food label addict and I've found that always reading the nutrition information for…

No matter how I'm running (if I'm getting mucky or not) I keep my phone and Ipod in my bra. If I have to carry extra things I use velcro bandages to strap it all to my leg underneath my joggers. failing this, you could always carry a small rucksack or bumbag. Hope you have an excellent time, it sounds amazing!

I've heard cranberry juice is great for detoxing and getting rid of bloating. Personally, I find that when having a meal, eating things like vegetables first and carbs last reduces bloating. And try not to eat too quickly, this can cause major bloating

I have sub-therapeutic anorexia (haven't fallen below 85% of the average weight for my age/height yet so can't be diagnosed with anorexia) and bulimia (but through a binge/fast cycle and purging via obsessive exercise). Because of the binge part of my life I can understand your struggles and hope you can pull through them.…

1200 is usually the target on here for women who're around 5 feet tall, or quite short men (especially those who don;t lead very active lives). It's just smaller, less active people require less calories. Also, in general, a woman who is dieting should eat 1200 (but that's an average so shouldn't be taken too seriously).…

I don't know if this is relevant, but you said you lost more weight after stopping taking contraception. The pill increases appetite so many women who take it gain weight. You may have lost more weight during your time of the month because for that week or so you're not taking the contraception and therefore your appetite…

50 x squats 50 x sit ups 50 x press ups 2 x 30 second plank 2 x 1 minute wall sit ^all daily^ + 2-3 hours swimming, about 4 times a week I don't really know how much I've lost as I don't own a set of scales and have to wait for doctors appointments so weigh in

Thanks guys :)

"starvation mode" isn't a myth although it's usually exaggerated. People are wrong in saying that not eating will make you stop losing weight, it just slows down weight loss
-
I don't want to sound mean, but I agree, I see these people down the pool doing length after length only to stop at the vending machines and subway (it's next door to the pool) straight after and it's quite...disappointing. People need to realize that after exercise, protein is good, but fat slows digestion down and is…

Ah, okay, good luck then

Personally, I stick to a strict routine, that's the way my body functions and if I break the routine with a 'cheat' meal/day it doesn't end well. But others have reported it helps them so I guess it's about what works for you

Foods full of fiber are well known for being filling, as well as those high in protein. Just check the nutritional values on foods to make sure you're getting what you want, without heaps of unwanted fat/salt/sugar/etc.

If you don't mind me asking, what country are you from? My phone contract only applies to UK texts. But I would be happy to be a motivator
-
Sorry to break it to you, but your body usually eats away at more muscle than fat reserves if you put it into a state of starvation

I'm a full time student at the moment. It can even be good, as it gives you routine! You have set eating times and it's near impossible to snack, just make sure you're eating healthy at those times (make your own packed lunch if the cafeteria food is a no go). I also swim really early on the weekends (6 am-8am) So that I…

And many thanks to the other suggestions

Thanks for the advice, and vegetables are also very important for me, although I fear I just have a very bad sweet tooth and prefer fruit

I would usually have a healthy but filling cereal (e.g. bran flakes) with either a small amount of milk or a larger amount of fat free natural yogurt. Depending on how much you usually would eat for lunch, either do something simple (e.g. drizzle honey over the top) or something a bit bigger (top with fresh fruits like…

Is there any food in particular that you're craving (salt, sugar, carbs, etc.)? If you are, then it might be your body telling you that you need to eat more of that category. The human body is very clever like that. If it's just hunger for general food then just up your diet a little on those days. Many people believe…

A filling (but healthy) cereal like bran flakes with either low fat, natural yogurt or milk. To improve the taste you could either use a flavoured yogurt or drizzle on a little honey. If that isn't enough to keep you full until the next time you eat, add some fresh fruit (I would suggest banana or red berries). This is…

Grapefruit is an amazing food to have either as a main meal (breakfast or lunch) or to snack on. It's healthy, filling, fat free and actually aids your body in burning fat. I would suggest slowly introducing it into your diet. Good luck!
