I usually look at it like this: This one day will lead me to the goal of getting better in shape / OR / it will lead me backwards. Keeps it simple. I also type out what I WANT to think and post it on my bathroom mirror where I will always see it.

I honestly don't do pounds because they fluctuate so much - maybe focus more on exercise - esp weights - it seems to compress you body into a smaller size. Then you feel and look better even tho your weight may not be the ultimate yet.

I would choose what I really want and then eat a third to a half, saving the rest for another meal.
