Brief preamble: I've been SUPER disappointed in myself lately. Eating habits have been crap and gym sessions have been less and less frequent. I've gained about 20 lbs from my lightest weight last summer. I stumbled across an old photo last night and WOW, it really helped put things in perspective for me. There's about a…

Yes, Claire, I am in the EXACT same position as you! These last 15 lbs just do not want to go away. It's a struggle to stay motivated when progress has seemingly stalled, but just keep going. Stay committed and things will happen in due time.

Thank you all for the great advice, I appreciate it so much. It's funny you mention buying a new bra; I am still wearing my "fat" bras (which of course fit horribly now), and wasn't sure if I should buy new ones now or once I lost the last 15 lbs. I think I will buy a couple now and see if that gives me some of my mojo…

I'm happy I'm not the only one with this issue. I have lost about 70 lbs from my highest weight, and my breasts have gone from a 40DD to barely filling a 36D :( It's not so much the loss of size that bothers me as the loss of volume, if that makes any sense. Like I feel like my boobs are droopy and flat at the top now.…

I was weighing myself daily forever, but as I get closer to my goal body composition, the scale moves less and less which can be mentally demotivating. Now I weight myself once a week and use non scale progress to gauge how I'm doing.

You guys are all so amazing and inspiring!!! Here is my progress so far. Left pic was at the beginning of my journey sometime late 2013/early 2014; I was probably around 235-240. Pic on the right was 1st week of January about 185 lbs. Still have much work to do, but I am positive we can ALL do it!

Ahhh you look great! You've come so far and should be so proud! While you are not plus size, I think you might like some of Forever21's plus size bathing suits. The XL might fit you, and they have lots of cute, affordable one pieces and high waisted bikinis ( I know you wanted skirted options, but you might be surprised…

I have been on my fitness journey for about 2 years now. The first year and a half, I focused solely on dieting and restricting calories. The weight did come off (about 40 lbs), but my body was flabby with no shape or definition. Over the past 6 months or so, I have shifted my focus to strength training, and the results…

Depending on how much of a "binge" you went on, a weight gain of 5-7 that lingers for a few days is totally normal, at least for me. I assume that most of it is water weight because a few days after resuming my normal eating habits and drinking plenty of water, I come back down to my regular weight. For example, this past…

Honey, wear whatever you feel comfortable and beautiful in! I am 188 lbs and I can't wait for warm weather so I can flaunt my stuff in my bikinis on the beach :) Confidence is everything.

Get it girl! You look great, what amazing progress!

It's incredible that you only lost 8 lbs, and yet you look like you've easily dropped 4 or 5 sizes! This is really inspiring to me since I just started Jillian's workout DVDs; I'm alternating between 30 day shred, Banish fat, boost metabolism, and Killer Buns and thighs. I only hope I see as much progress as you did, great…

I'm 25 down from my highest weight of 256 (eek!) to 202-204. My goal weight is 170-180. MFP has helped me so much; I never knew how much I was eating until I started tracking it all! It always helps to have the support o f others, so feel free to add me!
